Christmas gifts for travellers

Looking for a Christmas gift for a traveller? As I’m a traveller myself (I’ve visited over 60 countries) I know it can be hard to think of a gift for those who prefer te be on the road or in the air all the time. But I’ve got you covered. On this page you’ll find inspiration for the perfect gifts for travellers. For all budgets, I’ve got great Christmas gifts for travellers.

Stylish Targus Backpack

The best Christmas gift for a traveller, is a gift they can take with them on their travels. A stylish backpack is a great Christmas gift for your wandering friend. I love the Newport line bags from Targus, their backpacks are the proof that a woman can look fashionable with a backpack. A backpack is by far the easiest bag when you’re traveling but most of them are more practical than beautiful. The Newport backpacks from Targus are both. Also nice: my 15″ MacBook fits right in! Order your Targus Newport backpack here.

Canvas of the World

A reminder of the countries visited or a wishlist for all the destinations you still want to see. A canvas map of the world is a great Christmas gift for travellers. At Wereldkaarten.nl they have all kinds of different maps of the world. They’ve got maps that look old, maps of the world that are very kid-friendly and stylized maps that are my favorite. I like this geometrical map of the world the most, I actually also bought one for myself. Order your map of the world here.

Travel Bucket-list Poster

This poster consists of 100 places you should have visited in your life. It’s the ultimate bucket-list for travellers. On each box you’ll see the text of the landmark and if you’ve been there you can take the black paper off to reveal a picture of the place. On the map are things like the Oprah House of Sidney, the Big Ben in London and Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo. With this poster your travel-loving friend can show off where he/she has already been and they can use it as their bucket-list for which places to visit next. You can order the 100 places you should have visited in your life here.

Oppo Suits

No matter where in the world you celebrate Christmas (I’ve celebrated Christmas in Mexico, Panama, Surinam and the last 4 years), you’ll always need a Christmas outfit. OppoSuits has great Christmas outfits for both men and women. For men they have suits (pants, blazer and tie) and for women they have skirt suits (skirt and blazer) with all kinds of prints. They also have suits for Halloween and Carnaval, and their Christmas line has several prints, from Christmas pyjama print to winter decorations. I’ve got the ‘Lumberjackie’ with a red tartan print.

Nanaya fashion

If you’re traveling friend has been to Ibiza, India or Thailand, I’m sure she’ll love this necklace from Nanaya! It’s one necklace but consists of 4 layers, an elephant, a compass, a hand and a leaf. It’s a great accessoire for every bohemian free spirit. Nanaya has more great Bohemian style accessories like rings and other necklaces. Check out the Nanaya website to see it all.

Hanogram phonecase

Even if you’re always on the road, you’ll have your cellphone with you wherever you go. To give your travelling friend a nice Christmas gift, you can give a personalized phonecase from Hanogram. They have all kinds of different phone cases for both Samsung as Iphone and in most of them you can add a name. You could give your friend a phone case with her name on it! If you use discount code ANNE15 you’ll get a 15% discount on your Hanogram order. Shop your Hanogram phonecase here.

Mooncake cookbook

I’ve been following Jonneke de Zeeuw, a.k.a. Mooncake, on Instagram for a while. She was also our guide during a food tour in Amsterdam East that I had a while ago. Jonneke just released her very own cookbook, or actually I should say ‘bakebook’. In the Mooncake book you’ll find all kinds of sweet recipes from all over the world. From India to Surinam, Jonneke collected recipes from women from all over the world. You can travel around the world from your own kitchen with this cookbook. You can order the Mooncake bake-book here.

Suitcase Christmas Ornament

This suitcase Christmas ornament is the best Christmas tree decoration for travellers. A nice symbol of their wanderlust even if they do have their own Christmas tree at home, this ornament will show that the next trip is probably already planned. You can buy this Suitcase Christmas Ornament at the Sissy-Boy webshop in most European countries.
