Did you think you can never have pizza if you want to lose weight or eat healthy? Think again!
You can have a tortilla pizza, a tortizza! Just as tasty, much more healthy!
By substituting your high-calorie pizza crust by a low-calorie multigrain tortilla wrap you can still enjoy your favorite Friday night comfort food!
Below is the recipe and the video of one of my favorite versions of the tortilla pizza;. a colorful vegetarian tortizza!
Ingredients (for 8 torizzas/4 people)
* 1 pack (8pcs) multigrain tortilla wraps
* 2 small cans of tomato sauce
* 1 courgette (zucchini), sliced
* 1 bell pepper, cut in pieces
* 1 package mozzarella cheese
* 1 bag rocket lettuce
* optionally grated cheese
Making this tortizzas is super easy! You can watch my 15 second foodvlog on Youtube or read the instructions below.
Cover each tortilla wrap with 1 ts of tomato sauce, decorate it with toppings of your choice. I used 3 slices of mozzarella, 4 slices of courgette and 4 pieces of yellow bell pepper for every tortizza. I sprinkled it with a bit of grated cheese and put it in the oven (180C/350F) for 10 minutes. Top it with rocket and cut into pieces.
