QO design hotel in Amsterdam

The QO hotel in Amsterdam is one of the prettiest hotels I every stayed at. This design hotel has opened up in 2018 and isn’t only very well designed, it also focusses on sustainability. The rooms are beautiful and in the same building you’ll find rooftop bar Juniper & Kin on the top floor and restaurant Persijn on the ground floor.
You can find QO Amsterdam in South-East, right next to Spaklerweg subway station and close to the Amsterdam Amstel train station.

The hotel already makes a big impression as soon as you enter the building. From the entrance you can see the hotel bar and you can look up three floors. The reception is on the first floor. After you’re checked-in you use the innovative elevators to go to your room.
The morning after you can enjoy breakfast at restaurant Persijn. Plan your stay wisely so that you can enjoy the Sunday Boozy Brunch at Persijn every 1st Sunday of the month.

The rooms at QO hotel are just beautiful. There’s a big comfortable bed, a desk and an open bathroom. The rooms have big windows with, besides curtains, shutters that you can close automatically. The rooms are very comfortable with wifi and climate control.
Each room has a tablet with which you can adjust the illumination, climate and shutters of the room.

I was mostly impressed by the wonderful bathroom of the hotelroom. There was a freestanding bathtub and it was beautifully designed with black tiles and golden touches. There are two kinds of Zenology shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower and there’s soap and body cream at the sinks. There’s a blow dryer and very soft towels. In short: you can really pamper yourself in the bathroom of your QO hotelroom.

Staying at QO Hotel is a luxury experience. There were all kinds of things that made me feel like a princess. Like the I-pad with the ‘relaxed mode’ function that dimmed all the lights in the room to a relaxed level (you can even opt for ‘relaxed mode plus bathroom’ if your relaxing time includes a bath). There’s free still and sparkling water, coffee and tea in every room. And when I went to the toilet in the middle of the night, a soft light in the hallway automatically went on.
