If you visit my blog regularly, you might already know that I’m a big fan of hummus. I’ve already shared several hummus recipes with you, like red beet hummus and pumpkin hummus. This is the latest addition to my hummus family: green pea hummus!
Pea hummus is a great way to pack even more vegetables (and thus vitamins) in your snack! And I love the bright green colour and fresh taste of this hummus. As always, this hummus is also vegetarian, vegan and gluten free.

250 gr peas
1 can (400 grams) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
2 tbs tahini paste
1 tbs olive oil
1 tbs lemon juice
handful fresh mint leaves
Put all the ingredients in a food processor and mix until smooth. Serve the green pea hummus with grilled pitta bread.
