On this page I’m sharing the best kid friendly restaurants in Paris. At all these restaurants children are more than welcome to come with you for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Most of these restaurants even encourage you to come with your kids, as they’ve got high chairs, a kids menu and/or organise activities for families. Quickly read on for the best kid friendly restaurants in Paris!
Café Zoïde
Cafe Zoide is the first children’s cafe of France. Children’s cafes are most often places that allow children and parents to meet in a place designed for everyone, where no one will be bored. An ideal alternative to the traditional outing to the park after school, it is also an opportunity for parents to talk and for children to discover other places with a range of quality cultural activities for everyone. Cafe Zoide opened up over 20 years ago. Besides being a great place for a coffee, lemonade, lunch or cake; they organise many activities. Check out their website to see what they’re organizing this month.

Long&Tee
How adorable is this bear? And can you believe that it’s edible? You can order this cute teddy bear ice cream cake, and several other beautiful ice cream cakes at Long&Tee in Paris. They’ve also got a dog that looks really furry and a piece of ‘cheese’ with Tom and Jerry: all edible!
They also have bubble teas and smoothies.
La Felicita
La Felicità is a huge food market with a very creative interior (think train compartments and gigantic balloons). The food hall is 4,500 m2 and it has 8 different kitchens. You can go for a Neapolitan pizza from the wood-fired oven, get an organic burger at TopBun or go for one of the homemade desserts from the train. In general I found food halls very kid friendly, as the atmosphere is generally relaxed. But La Felicità has an extra reason to visit with your kids: every Sunday is Kids Day! From noon to 4pm children are more than welcome and the host all kinds of activities.
Ground Control
Another great venue because of it’s large, creative space is Ground Control. It’s located near Lyon train station in Paris, in a former postal sorting hall belonging to the SNCF. It is a 6,500m² space where people meet, where ideas are brewed and where new solutions can appear. Besides, it has 8 different food stands where you can get all kinds of dishes. The food stands are all committed to a very selective supply policy: organic, artisanal and seasonal products. You can get street-food from all over the world at Ground Control, like modern Greek cuisine or Latin-American flavors.
La REcyclerie
Located in a former train station, la Petite Ceinture, rehabilitated into a living space, the REcyclerie aims to raise public awareness of eco-responsible values, in a fun and positive way. They focus on the three R’s: reduce, reuse, recycle. They often host events around this theme. They serve great breakfast and lunch dishes and tapas in the evenings. They have portions of food for children, workshops for children, coloring pages available, and children are always delighted to go see the chickens!
Les Fils a Maman
Les Fils à Maman are dining establishments that serve dishes reminiscent of home-cooked meals. The journey began in 2009 in Paris when three friends, all with a strong passion for their mothers’ culinary creations, embarked on this culinary adventure. Since then, numerous other Les Fils à Maman restaurants have been established throughout France. Les Fils à Maman reimagine the flavors of our childhood, offering a savory menu that includes treats like Babybel croquettes, Father Doudou’s cordon bleu and a mega cheeseburger. On the sweet side, they fulfill your childhood dreams with desserts such as a Kinder-inspired tiramisu and a Nutella-filled soft heart.
Hippopotamus
Hippopotamus is a super kid-friendly steakhouse. They’ve created two characters especially for children that visit the restaurant: Hippolyte, the explorer of taste and Popotin, his very very greedy companion. They’ve got a special kids menu with a main (beef, chicken or fish), a side (vegetables, fries or rice), a dessert and a drink. And you’ll also get a surprise bag with coloring pencils, a coloring book and a game.
