Chocolate dipped peanut butter Oreo cookies

You can’t go wrong with Oreo cookies. No matter what kind of recipe I see with these cookies with cream, I always love it. I’ve already shared several Oreo recipes on my blog, like vegan Oreo pie and Oreo pancakes. But you can never have enough Oreo recipes, so I made one more. This time I made a super easy recipe: chocolate dipped peanut butter Oreo cookies.

All you need is Oreo cookies, peanut butter and chocolate. As the recipe is so easy, it’s also great to make with kids. Although they might prefer the Oreo panda cookies from my Cute Food Ideas page. When you’re having someone over for coffee or tea, these chocolate dipped peanut butter Oreo cookies make a great impression. It’s so much nicer than a regular store-bought cookie!
Did you know that Oreo cookies are vegan? This recipe is also vegan as long as you use dark chocolate (or a vegan milk chocolate).
You don’t necessarily need to use coconut oil for this recipe, you can also dip the cookies in just the melted chocolate. But I think the dipping just goes a bit easier with the added coconut oil.

Recipe chocolate dipped peanut butter Oreo cookies

Ingredients:
1/2 package Oreo cookies
3 tablespoons peanut butter
50 grams dark chocolate
1 teaspoon coconut oil

Twist the cookies so that the top half will separate from the bottom half. Spread 1/2 a teaspoon of peanut butter on every bottom half. Carefully put the top half back on top.
Melt the chocolate au-bain-marie, add the coconut oil and stir until mixed. Dip the cookies with one half in the chocolate. Put them on parchment paper in the fridge until serving.
