I had a lot of fun making my dessert today. I made a healthy and vegan chocolate mousse and created a mini garden! I used oreo cookies to create the soil and mint as a plant. This dessert is not only fun to serve to your guests, it’s healthy and nutritious as well!
Below is the recipe for 4 chocolate mousse mini gardens.
Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas
2 ripe avocados
8 oreo cookies
4 tbs cacao powder
4 leaves of fresh mint
Twist the oreo cookies so you’ve got 2 halfs. Scrape the cream filling from the cookies. Put all the cookies in a Ziplock bag and all the cream in a food processor. Add all the other ingredients to the food processor as well. Put the chocolate mousse in 4 glasses. Using a rolling pin (or another heavy object) you can crush the oreo cookies. Crumble these on top of the chocolate mousse to create the ‘earth’ layer. Put the glasses in the fridge until serving. Right before serving, put the 4 mint leaves in the glasses to create a mini plant.
