Aren’t these mini fried eggs the cutest? On this page I’m showing you how to make them. You can read the recipe and how-to guide here or you can have a look at my YouTube channel for the video.
Eggs are a real breakfast staple. And after fried, boiled, scrambled or omelets, you can now add another option: mini!
I saw these mini fried eggs for the first time on TikTok and decided to make them myself. These cute sunny side up eggs might seem difficult to make but it’s easier than you think!
I thought it was great fun to make and even more fun to serve. I’m sure that everyone will get a smile on their face when they see these mini eggs.
Kids will probably love them even more, but I bet adults will smile as well.
I put them on a regular slice of toast, but you can even get more creative and cut out mini slices of toast as well.
They might look fake or artificial, but it’s made with a normal egg and no other strange ingredients!
To make these mini fried eggs you need only one egg and two squeeze bottles. Read the step-by-step tutorial below or watch my YouTube video to see how I made them.
How to make mini fried eggs
You’ll need:
1 egg
2 slices of bread
Butter or margarine
2 squeeze bottles
Crack the egg open, divide the egg white and egg yolk over two bowls. Put the egg white in a squeeze bottle and the egg yolk in another bottle. Warm some butter or margarine in a frying pan.
Squeeze drops of the egg white in the frying pan. 2 or 3 drops per mini egg will give a good size. Fry them for 2 minutes. Use a fork or spatula to take the egg whites out of the pan.
To make the mini egg yolks you squeeze one drop at a time in the frying pan. They’re done after a minute.
In the meantime put the slices of bread in a toaster. When they’re done, spread them with butter or margarine. Divide the mini egg whites over the slices of toast.
I used tweezers to get the mini egg yolks out of the pan and on top of the egg whites.
That’s it! Enjoy your breakfast with mini fried eggs!
