Overnight Oats
If there’s one recipe online that is very popular with healthy food bloggers all over the globe; it must be overnight oats. And it’s understandable why. Overnight oats are vegan, gluten free, very healthy and even though the name suggest otherwise, it’s easy to make.
There are many variations but this one with apple is my favorite. On this page I’m sharing the recipe for apple pie overnight oats.
For 1 portion mix 6 tablespoons of oatmeal with 100ml (1/2cup) almond milk (or regular skimmed milk for a non vegan version). Mix it and leave it in the fridge overnight. If you want, you can add a bit of extra milk in the morning when you find the oats a bit dry.
Cut 1 apple in small pieces, mix with 4 dates (chopped), 1 tbs raisins, 1ts cinnamon and optionally a couple of hazelnuts. I put mine in the food processor for a bit to chop it all finely.
Serve your overnight oats with the apple mixture in a glass jar.
