I drink endless amounts of tea. Staying hydrated has so many health benefits. And since I love food so much, I try not to drink any calories, I’d rather eat them. So aside from the occasional glass of wine in the weekend, I mostly drink tea. On top of that I get cold easily and a nice cup of tea is a great way to warm me up.
So when Hanna and Reinout from Tea Adventure invited me for a tea tasting, I didn’t have to think twice!
They invited me in their lovely home in Amsterdam and let me taste all kinds of Chinese tea. We started with white tea, then moved to green tea, we tasted an oolong, black tea, even a yellow tea and we ended with puerh tea.
All the teas from Tea Adventure are organic and they visit all the tea farms in China themselves.
I was in China myself last summer, so I know how difficult it can be to communicate with the Chinese people since their English is often very limited. Reinout and especially his partner Renco learned Chinese so that they can make sure the tea farmers have the same passion for tea, and not a passion for money.
At the website from Tea Adventure you can order your own organic Chinese tea and tea ware. They ship worldwide straight from China. If you want to try different teas, like I did, you can also order a sampler
