You don’t need sugar to make jam! I made this healthy cranberry jam with the cranberries I had leftover from my cranberry smoothie bowl without any sugar!
All you need is 4 ingredients and 10 minutes to make this healthy spread yourself!
Below is the recipe for two jars of cranberry jam.
Ingredients:
300-350 gram (3 cups) cranberries
175 ml (3/4 cups) water
3 tbs chia seeds
a few drips vanilla stevia
Add the cranberries and water to a food processor (or blender) and mix until combined. Add the chia seeds and stevia and transfer to a sauce pan. Warm over medium heat for 5 to 8 minutes (the amount of liquid will reduce). Let it cool or enjoy a slice of toast with warm cranberry jam!
You can store the jam in an airtight container in the fridge up to 2 weeks.You can also use the cranberry jam in a breakfast jar with muesli or homemade granola and soy yogurt.
