Christmas Menu at Jamie Oliver’s Pizzeria

You can now enjoy a Christmas menu at Jamie Oliver’s Pizzeria restaurants in the Netherlands. You can find Jamie’s Pizzeria in Arnhem and Tilburg and until January 6th you can enjoy a festive 3 course menu at these restaurants of Jamie Oliver.
I was one of the first that could try out the Christmas Menu at Jamie’s Pizzeria. I’m telling you all about it in this blog post and of course I’m sharing pictures of the delicious dishes we had.

I enjoyed this Christmas dinner with my mom. When I was a kid I always loved Christmas, but the last few years I’ve been abroad every year for Christmas. This year is no exception, I’ll be in Madagascar at the end of December. So it was nice to enjoy this Christmas menu with my mother. It was like an early Christmas dinner that we could enjoy together. The ultimate Christmas feast from Jamie’s Pizzeria starts with a soup of the day. We had a celery soup that was very creamy. It was served with fresh basil on top and garlic bread on the side.

If you want you can order an additional anti-pasta plate with your table. You’ll get a wooden serving plate with all kinds of nibbles. They made a vegetarian platter for me at Jamie’s Pizzeria in Tilburg. Amongst the bites were artichokes, bruschetta with mushrooms, mozzarella snacks and seasoned grilled vegetables. Together with the soup it’s quite a filling starter!

As a main dish you can choose between 4 items on the Christmas Menu. As it’s a Pizzeria, of course you can get a Christmas pizza at Jamie Oliver! The pizza on the Christmas Menu is one with crushed tomatoes, chili beef meatballs and fresh chili. You can also go for the fish in a bag which is sustainably sourced cod with fennel, artichokes, black olives and capers. My mom went for the oven-roasted free-range chicken with lentil ragu, cherry tomatoes, parsley and olive tapenade. I had the vegetarian option; roasted cauliflower wit hazelnuts, cauliflower puree, roasted grapes and extra virgin olive oil. The main dishes are served with rosemary roast potatoes and seasonal veggies, we had parsnip, pumpkin and Brussels sprouts.
The Roasted Cauliflower was delicious. The soft cauliflower puree was a great combination with the crispy roasted cauliflower and the hazelnuts gave the dish a nice bite.

As a true Christmas Dessert you’ll get a Grand Dessert at Jamie Oliver’s Pizzeria. You’ll get a serving board with their lemon cheesecake with blackcurrant compote, ice cream and their chocolate brownie with caramelized popcorn and chocolate sauce.
