Cuban dinner at Restaurant Havana in Tilburg

Restaurant Havana in Tilburg is one of my favorite places to go for a drink in the evening but did you know they’re also open for lunch and dinner? It’s really worth giving it a try! They’ve got a varied menu and generous portions. All the dishes on the menu of Restaurant Havana are inspired by Cuba. The interior also gives you a Caribbean feel and the menu looks like a newspaper from Havana. Especially on a cold winter evening, Restaurant Havana is a great address to escape the weather and to imagine yourself on vacation in Cuba.

The best day to go to Restaurant Havana in Tilburg if you like cocktails is on Thursdays. With their ‘Tiki Thursdays’ you’ll get their delicious Tiki cocktails for only €7,50. They have 6 cocktails to chose from. It starts at 5pm so you can do what we did and start with a cocktail before you order your dinner.

One of my favorite dishes from Central America is nacho’s. I just love them! They’re a great afternoon snack, but are also a good starter to share with your friends. We ordered the nacho’s for two as a starter at Restaurant Havana, but I think it woud be enough for 4 people! It’s a really big portion! We loved the melted cheese load on the nachos at Havana.

If you think Cuban food has poor vegetarian choices, you’ll be up for a positive surprise at Restaurant Havana. They have two very good vegetarian main dishes on the menu. I went for the Fajitas Portobello. It’s mixed vegetables with portobello and corn, served with rice, tortilla’s, cheddar and guacamole. But you can also go for the Enchilada Queso, a tortilla filled with goat cheese, served with rice, guacamole and crème fraîche.
The portions are quite royal at Havana so you won’t leave hungry!
