Recipe Puff Pastry Broomsticks
1 sheet of puff pastry
8 pretzel sticks
100 grams walnut butter
Preheat the oven to 200C.
Cover half of the puff pastry sheet with the almond butter and fold it over lengthwise.
Cut the half sheet in half lengthwise again, and the two halves in 4 parts each. So that you’ve got 8 squares.
Cut stripes in each square but not all the way through, as if you’re making tear-off flyer.
Lay a pretzel stick on one end of the square, in the top right corner. And roll the puff pastry around the pretzel stick, as if you’re giving the pretzel stick a skirt!
Use your fingers to move the stripes a bit apart so that they look like the hairs of a broomstick.
Whisk the egg and brush the broomsticks with the egg. Lay them on a lined baking sheet.
Bake the puff pastry broomsticks in about 15 minutes.
