Highlights of June

It’s already July! Don’t you feel like time flew by this month?

I hope you had a lot of fun and did some great things in June. In this blog post I’m sharing some of my favorite moments in June, some food news of last month and my most popular posts from June.

June was festival month for me as I spent two whole weekends at festivals. Last week I was at Festival Mundial in my hometown Tilburg. I enjoyed the music and food there of course (I had a delicious vegan platter from Bakblik) but there was another reason why this festival was special: I was being interviewed about my blog! They asked me about my travels, healthy hotspots and vegetarian recipes. It was a lot of fun to do.

The week before I was at Best Kept Secret Festival where this picture was taken, it’s a vegan burger made of kidney beans with the fun name ‘Kidney Houston’. There were also great bands like Arcade Fire, Radiohead and George Ezra. I love going to festivals! The atmosphere is just so positive and relaxed. Do you guys have any festivals that you recommend? Let me know in a comment!
Besides festivals I also had some nice food events like the Food Talks in Amsterdam where we discussed some dinner issues that we’re facing nowadays like do you use your smartphone at the dinner table.

My most popular recipe of last month was this sugar free, vegan, raw strawberry cake. With only 4 ingredients is super easy to make, so I understand its popularity!
My most popular pin on Pinterest was the bowl with unicorn noodles and my most liked Instagram picture in June was my ‘poffertjes’ picture.
cool gifts
Some really nice packages also arrived this month! I got to try the ‘limonsecco’ from Il Miogusto, it’s a very light fruity bubble. It’s like a hybrid of limoncello and prosecco.
And I got this really cool pegboard from CoolGift. They deliver it with white and yellow letters so you can create your own text. I already spent some time on Pinterest looking for cool quotes to put on it!hands off my chocolate bowl
Hands Off My Chocolate also introduced new products this month. You might already know them from their chocolate bars but they now also sell boxes with individually wrapped chocolates. I made a nice chocolate breakfast bowl with their chocolate balls with seesalt and caramel.
And I also uploaded several food videos on my YouTube channel in the last couple of weeks. Maybe you’ve seen this video of my cranberry smoothie bowl.

And now it’s already July! Maybe some of your are celebrating Independence Day tomorrow, or you’re allready planning your next trip
In any case, I hope that I can inpsire you again in July!
