Looking for a healthy lunchroom in Paris? You should go to Liife! Liife is a healthy restaurant in the middle of Paris. It’s the perfect spot to get a healthy breakfast or lunch (or dessert!), that you can either have to-go or enjoy at their restaurant on rue des Petits Carreaux close to Les Halles.
Liife is founded by 3 friends that started a healthier lifestyle a few years ago and were missing the healthy food restaurants in France that they did see in countries like the United States. The slogan of Liife ‘eat smart’ focusses on 3 points: sport, health and environment. Most of their dishes are low in calories and high in carbs or proteins. Ideal if you work-out but also healthy if you’re not that sporty. They serve fresh and seasonal dishes, so every day they’ll serve something different.
They have many vegetarian, vegan and/or gluten free dishes that are clearly marked. They have several salads that you can top with your favorite source of protein (like chicken, egg, tofu or quinoa). The one pictured is a salad with kale, avocado and rice.
They also have warm dishes at Liife. I had this vegan Rice Flower dish. It’s rainbow carrots with curcuma rice and coriander. It’s served with a vegan spicy yogurt sauce.
They also have desserts at Liife, a soy yogurt with pureed red fruits for example that’s both vegan and gluten free.
They also have granola and acai bowls and all kinds of juices and coffees.
