We all like food festivals, but as a vegetarian, vegan or flexitarian it might be difficult to find a food festival that has many vegetarian options. There’s good news for us! In June the first vegetarian food festival will take place in Amsterdam.
It’s called Veggie Festival and it’ll take place from June 15 to 17 at the NDSM wharf in Amsterdam North.
You’ll find all kinds of delicious vegetarian and vegan food at Veggie Festival; from vegetarian burgers to mezzes and falafel. Every day there will be 15 food stands to choose from, from small food trucks to well-known names in vegetarian food-land. And there’ll also be nice drinks like artisan beers and gin and tonics!
Besides food and drinks there’ll also be live music on all three days.
Veggie Festival can be reached by a free ferry leaving regularly from the North side of Amsterdam Central train station. It’s open from 3pm on Friday, 12pm on Saturday and 1pm on Sunday. You can buy your tickets here and join the Facebook event here.
