10 Bilion Coffee

If you’re looking for a refreshing smoothie, I’d recommend 10 Billion Coffee in Busan. You can find them close to the Busan central train station, so it’s also perfect if you’re looking for a breakfast or lunch restaurant in that area. They’ve got branches all over South Korea, so you might spot them elsewhere too.

Twosome Place Busan

Another South Korea chain that’s one of my favorite restaurants in Busan: Twosome Place. Here they’ve got the most tasty desserts. From rich chocolate cake to Dubai style brownie bars and Chocolate Strawberry cakes. Order a nice coffee with it or one of their creative drinks.

Dongbaek 104 Rooftop Café

This is the best restaurant in Busan if you ask me. And not neccesarily because of the food, although they serve tasty pizza’s. But because of the location. They’ve got a balcony where you can enjoy your pizza, cake or drinks with perfect views over the Busan Sky Capsule. It’s great to see the cute monorail wagons passing by. Really one of the most unique food spots in Korea!

Busan Night Market

Don’t you just love night markets in Asia? They’re such a great cultural phenomenon. And each country and city has got its own style and dishes. In Busan the night market is called Bupyeong Kkangtong Market. The most well-known dish from the Busan night market is ‘Tteokbokki’, it’s cylinder shaped rice cakes served in a spicy gochujang sauce. It’s not for the faint-hearted, because the sauce is really spicy! You can also go for the mung bean pancakes ‘Bindaetteok’, they were my favorite food market snack.

P.ARK

In cultural center P.ARK you can find the best pastries of Yeongdo island with the best views. Picking out your favorite pastry will be a challenge, as there are dozens of different ones on display. But after that you can grab a seat, and look out the floor to ceiling windows. You’ll have an amazing view over the water, and perhaps even with the Busan skyline on the background.

Who’s Who MUMU Bakery

At Who’s Who MUMU Bakery in Busan, it feels like you’re entering a cave. This cafe serves drinks, but mostly sells bakery items like pastries. There’s a downstairs bakery for take away, or take the stairs up for a cafe where you can sit and enjoy your drink and food.

View Foot bath cafe

At Yeongdo island you can find Foot bath cafe View. The name already says what you can expect; enjoy a nice foot bath while enjoying an iced tea with a beautiful view over Busan. You can find the View foot bath cafe at the west side of Yeongdo-Gu, at Huinnyeoul Cultural Village.

Lotteria

Lotteria is the most famous fast-food restaurant in South Korea. The name is a substraction of Lotte and Cafetaria. Owned by the famous Lotte family, it serves French fries, burgers and soda. It’s not high class dining of course, but a great experience. Everyone in South Korea knows Lotteria and you’ll find branches all over the country.
