- Please note that this is an older blog post and that restaurant Sushilee in Amsterdam is closed.
Ask anyone in Amsterdam about the ‘Zuidas’ and they’ll tell you it’s a business district filled with big offices. But there’s much more to the Zuidas area than that. I’m discovering more and more really cool places in that area, that are also open on Saturdays when the offices are closed. I already wrote about Market 33 earlier and now I’ve discovered a really good Japanese restaurant at the Zuidas: Sushilee.
Sushilee has a varied menu with ramen, salads, rice bowls and sushi. And good news for veggie lovers: they have many vegetarian and vegan options. There’s a veggie sushi platter with avocado, green asparagus and aubergine instead of fish.
The menu changes every season and they also have a special that changes every week. And unless many other Japanese restaurants Sushilee offers good quality without high prices.
