These Swedish Chocolate Balls, or ‘chokladbollar’ are super easy to make and vegan and gluten-free. I got the recipe from the Meesters van de Halm winter magazine. You can download it for free here. As the magazine is in Dutch, I’m sharing the recipe in English on this page. Scroll down for the recipe of these vegan and gluten-free Swedish chocolate balls.
Have you ever been to Sweden? I’ve been to Stockholm and to Swedish Lapland. Especially the latter was a wonderful experience. Most people visit Lapland in winter but we actually went there in summer. Swedish Lapland has so much to offer in summer as well. An important part of Swedish culture is ‘Fika’. Fika means drinking coffee, munching on sweets and chatting. We enjoyed Fika several times when we were in Swedish Lapland. These chocolate balls are perfect for your Fika moment!

1/2 teaspoon salt
60 grams grated coconut
Put all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and mix until smooth.
Use your hands to roll 12 balls from it. Roll the chocolate balls in the grated coconut.
