Valentine’s Bar Chocolatemakers
The Valentine’s Bar from the Chocolatemakers is a 65% dark bar which I love as it isn’t too bitter. It’s made from the Criollo cacao from Colombia. The Chocolatemakers work with a women’s group in Colombia to produce the cacao beans. The beans have been shipped to the Netherlands by sailing boat and processed in their chocolate factory in Amsterdam. You can order the bar at www.chocolatemakers.nl.
Heinz Chocolate Truffles
From all the brands that you might expect Valentine’s Chocolates, Heinz is probably the last. But instead of Tomato Ketchup, they’ve created chocolate truffles! They’ve partnered up with Fortnum and Mason to create a heartshaped box filled with nine handmade chocolates. The chocolates come in white, milk and dark and have a filling of chocolate genache and ketchup. If you’re curious to find out how they taste, you should keep an eye out on the Heinz Facebook page from February 7 to 12 as you can win a box. You can also order the Heinz Valentine’s Truffles at the Fortnum and Mason website.

Sometimes it’s hard to put down in words how you feel about someone. This chocolate emoticon will help! This Chocomoticon from Australian will help. This smiley is made from dark chocolate with a white chocolate smile and strawberry chocolate heart eyes. You can order the chocolate emoji on their website and have it delivered to your own house or to your Valentine. You get a free personalized text card with every order.
