2 food festivals in Den Bosch this weekend

This weekend you can go to food truck festival Vlam in de Pijp ánd Playful Arts Festival, both in the same area in Den Bosch. The Tramkade (only a 10 minute walk from the central station) is the place to go in the weekend of June 15 to 17.
Den Bosch is a nice city to visit anyway with boutique shops and many restaurants, but this weekend you’ve got an extra reason to go with no less than two food festivals happening simultaneously.

Vlam in de Pijp

On the parking lot and outdoor area of the Tramkade you can go to food truck festival Vlam in de Pijp. It opens on Friday at 3pm and on Saturday and Sunday at 1pm and closes around midnight. On the area you’ll find many food trucks, musical performances and a 30 seconds tournament (the popular card game).
Amongst the food trucks you’ll find Pittige Dames who serve a variety of food from all over the world, like gyozas from Japan and nacho’s from Mexico. Fruitzaam will serve fresh smoothies and Pancake Crumble makes sweet and savory pancakes.

Playful Arts Festival

Right next door, in the Werkwarenhuis venue you can visit the Playful Arts Festival on June 15 en 16. Two days of play, art and inspiration together with artists, professionals and general public for intimate and playful experiences. They also have food related projects.
One of them is NOUR, Nour is an interactive exploration of the beauty of food. The game doesn’t give you a direct assignment or goal; you’re free to lay with your food without having to celan up afterwards. On the menu you’ll find ramen noodles, popcorn, bubble tea and much more you can mix up.

Do you like eating? Do you like playing games with family and friends? Then EDIBLE GAMES are perfect for you! You might be required to perform funny rituals, eat your veggies, crack a code made of cream puffs, try to keep a straight face while eating gross things, test your memory and taste buds at the same time, or push your culinary flavour combination skills to the limit. Some edible games are sweet, others are savoury, and they all have one thing in common—you have to eat to play!

The Playful Arts Festival is open from 12 to 5pm.
Both events are free to attent.

Haven’t got plans for the weekend after this one? Go to Festival Mundial in Tilburg for music and food from all over the world.
