I made a delicious vegan Oreo peanut butter pie and on this page I’m sharing the recipe. You only need 5 ingredients to make this vegan pie and none of them are egg, dairy or sugar.
This vegan Oreo peanut butter pie consists of three layers and everyone, vegan or not, will love it!
I made this Oreo peanut butter pie with Oreo cookies (of course), margarine, peanut butter, coconut cream and dark chocolate. I used the organic 100% peanuts peanut butter from Koro. That’s where I ordered my coconut cream as well. Koro is an online supermarket selling (healthy) food products. With discount code TRAVELFOODIE you get a 5% discount on your Koro order.
Recipe Vegan Oreo Peanut butter Pie
1 package (154 grams) Oreo cookies
50 grams margarine, room-temperature
250 grams peanut butter
1 tablespoon coconut paste
80 grams dark chocolate
30 grams coconut paste
Crumble the Oreo cookies in a food processor, add the soft margarine and mix until combined. Line a cake tin with parchment paper. Divide the crumbled Oreo’s over the bottom. Press down with the back of a spoon. Put in the fridge.
Put the peanut butter with the tablespoon of coconut paste in a saucepan on low heat. Stir until combined. Scoop on top of the Oreo base and place back in the fridge.
Melt the chocolate and coconut paste au-bain-marie (in a bowl over soft-boiling water), stir until combined. Poor over the peanut butter layer and put in the fridge again to set.
You’ll need to cool it for at least 2 hours, so you can also make this vegan Oreo peanut butter pie the day before.
Optionally you can top the cake with some Oreo pieces, sea salt or raw cacao nibs.
