On this page I’m sharing the recipe for baked feta with orzo. It’s a super easy dinner recipe and you’ll only need 3 ingredients and 2 herbs to make it. The recipe is vegetarian and besides the oven time you’ll only need a few minutes to prepare it.
For years the only way that I would eat feta cheese would be in a Greek salad. But there’s so much more that you can do with feta than just cut it in cubes and eat it! Did you ever hear from whipped feta for example? It makes a great sandwich spread or toast topping.
And you can also bake feta. In 2021 baked feta became a big hit on TikTok. On videos on that platform people would bake the feta and then stir it in pasta. The dish even got the name ‘TikTok pasta’.
The funny thing is that a year earlier, I already shared a recipe on my blog for oven baked feta cheese.
Back then I shared the oven baked feta as a small dish for when you’re having a drink.
But you can also have oven baked feta for dinner, as this recipe proofs. Instead of regular pasta, I’ve served this baked feta with orzo. Orzo is a pasta that looks like rice. It’s also sometimes called Risoni.
There aren’t a lot of vegetables in this recipe, so I advice you to make a green salad with cucumber to go with this dish.
