Every month I’m keeping you posted about new items and food products that became available in the Netherlands. On this page I’m sharing all my favorite food news from September 2020. And I’ve got some really cool giveaways.

New Duvel Glass

Tattoo artist Morrison Schiffmacher has designed the new Duvel beer glass. She added a feminine touch to the beer glasses. Ever since 2007 Duvel lets artists design their glasses for them. There have been 2 Dutch artists before, but Morrison is the first female Dutch artist to decorate the Duvel glasses. The story goes that 1 on every 1,000 Duvel beer bottles has an angel on the bottle as well, besides the devil that’s always on there. Morisson was inspired by this idea and created tattoo like decorations of the devil and an angel on the glass. The glass is limited edition and available in a gift-pack with 4 Duvel beers at licor stores and big supermarkets in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Win: vegan Soul Food

Je kunt nu dit boek vol kleurrijke vegan recepten winnen! Het boek Vegan Soul Food is van Jason Tjon Affa maar je kent hem wellicht als @theindigokitchen. Hij maakt allerlei gerechten vol kleur zoals Unicorn Noodles en een regenboogsandwich met pulled jackfruit. Er staan maar liefst 60 vegan comfort food recepten in.
