Looking for a nice place to stay while you’re visiting The Hague? I recommend boutique hotel La Paulowna.
La Paulowna is my favorite hotel in The Hague, or Den Haag as the Dutch all it, and that’s not only because of vegetarian restaurant Hortus that you can find on the ground floor.
La Paulowna is located at a nice square next to the Peace Palace. It’s housed in a former bank, you can still see the big safe downstairs when you go to the toilet. They have 5 suites that are all quite big and have their own bathrooms.
All suites have a kingsize bed, a bathroom with a shower and a bath, a television, a kettle and a coffee machine.
All rooms also have free wifi.
We had this little cupboard in our room with all kinds of fun details, like a Delft blue canal house and a picture of a flamingo.
They also had very soft bathrobes. I don’t even own a bathrobe at home, but I love it when hotels have a comfy one that I can use after I took a bath.
They serve breakfast in restaurant Hortus downstairs, and I recommend you eat there for dinner as well!
