On this page I’m sharing my review of Insight Beach Breda. You can find city oasis Insight Beach at STRND in Breda. It’s a city beach where you’ll feel like you’re at a beach bar but you’re actually in the middle of the city.
You can find Insight Beach at the Slingerweg on the North-West edge of the city center of Breda. From Breda Central Station it’s a 20 minute walk.
Insight Beach is open the whole summer of 2021 from the beginning of June to the end of August. If the weather stays nice in September and they might stay longer.
Beach beds
There’s place for 100 people at Insight Beach, that can sit on the terrace or relax on one of the beach beds.
The terrace is great to enjoy your lunch or dinner. And if you want to spend the whole day soaking up the sun you can reserve a lounge bed. The beds all have a table for your drinks and food and an umbrella.
You can reserve your spot via their website. Two bath towels and a water spray is included with each reservation of a lounge bed or cabana. For a lounge bed you pay 25,- per person for the whole day, the more luxury cabana is 50,- per person per day. The Cabana has more shade as it has clothes on the sides and above the beds.
Want to spoil yourself? You can also book a luxury lounge bed with private jacuzzi! It’s all yours for the day for 125,- per person.
Swimming Pool
A big plus of Insight Beach Breda is the swimming pool. Often when there’s a ‘beach’ bar created in a city, there’s no place where you can cool down. Insight beach has a swimming pool where you can take a dip to cool off. They’ve also got some floatables if you want to relax in the pool.
Food and Drinks at Insight Beach
There’s an extensive drinks menu at Insight Beach Breda with many alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Besides the standard sodas they’ve also got two nice smoothies. The alcoholic drink list is very comprehensive. Especially if you want to spoil yourself with some champagne, they’ve got several different Moet & Chandon bottles on the list.
They’ve also got a nice food menu that’s available throughout the day. You’ll find several cold dishes, hot dishes, sandwiches and snacks on it. They don’t have many vegetarian options unfortunately. They’ve got a cheese pizza and this goat cheese salad. I did really like the salad, the goat cheese was really good.
And very popular at Insight Beach are the shisha’s, they’ve got many different kind of flavors and you’ll see many of the visitors enjoying one.
Insight Beach Breda is open 7 days a week from 11am to 8pm. As spaces are limited, it’s smart to reserve yor beds, especially on warm days. Click here to reserve your spot.
