First pictures of the rooftop bar and maze in Tilburg

You might have heard the news; Tilburg will get a rooftop bar and a maze! They will open up in a big former office building near the Central Station, besides the train tracks. Although we’ll have to wait until May for it to open, I’ve got some exciting news and pictures for you, and I’m telling you how you can be one of the first ones to experience the maze and rooftop bar!

First of all I can tell you the name of the rooftop bar and the maze; it’ll be called Doloris.
And ‘maze’ doesn’t cover the experience that Doloris will be. It’s an ‘immersive art experience’ with 40 rooms. There isn’t an experience this big in Europe or the world.
Doloris is an initiative of the young Tilburger Joep van Gorp. Only 26 years old but he already achieved a lot. He was the mastermind behind Aus Berlin Festival and Qanvas. When he was in Berlin he visited the surreal maze Peristal Singum that was open from 2010 to 2014. He thought more places in the world should have an experience like this and this is how the idea for Doloris in Tilburg started. The founder of Peristal Singum, Tim Henrik Schneider and his art collective Karmanoia are working together with a team of Dutch artists of the installation at the Spoorzone.

Doloris Universe is the name of the 40 room experience and Doloris Rooftop is the name for the rooftop bar where you can get delicious dishes and cocktails. The rooftop bar will serve food all day and is created together with Cookaholics from Waalwijk. You can order smaller dishes with your company to share. Reservations for Doloris Rooftop will open on April 1st.

The tickets are €17,- (the regular entrance after the opening will be €20,-).
