The big empty white wall of our living room has been annoying me ever since we moved to this apartment. I wanted to hang something nice there but found it difficult to chose. If you buy a poster at a shop, you know that many people will have the exact same poster on their wall. Another option would be to have a canvas print of one of our travel pictures but to be honest, I don’t really like the style of a canvas painting.
I was very happy when I discovered that you can also design your own posters online! I used www.fotofabriek.nl as this website has a very convenient online editor. I made two posters on this website. One is from a picture of the Flatiron building which we made ourselves during our last trip to New York City. The other poster is slightly smaller, because I love the effect of multiple sized posters on the wall. For this one I used an image I found online with an old drawing of a record player as my boyfriend really likes music.
I like it that they’re both in black and white, but do have a different theme and look.
