The current Grand Cafe at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam is closing its doors this month. But you don’t have to be sad that they’re leaving because something really nice is coming in its place!
In December the doors of this former stock exchange will open again for a whole new concept.
Let me introduce to you: Bistro Berlage
Both in the interior as on the menu you’ll find classical elements and contemporary aspects. They’ll keep the beautiful interior of the monumental building and will add warm and cosy elements and a big round bar in the middle.
And whereas the Grand Cafe was only open for lunch, Bistro Berlage will be open for dinner as well. Head chef Herb van Drongele is developing the menu as we speak, but you can expect some dishes that link to the history of Amsterdam and the stock exchange.
