Explore the Beekse Bergen Safari Park

Beekse Bergen is an incredible safari park where kids can get up close to animals from all over the world. You can explore the park by car, boat, or bus, and see animals like lions, giraffes, and elephants in spacious enclosures. There’s also a playground and a petting zoo where children can interact with friendly farm animals. Beekse Bergen is a fun and educational experience for the whole family, located near Tilburg.

Relax at Speelland Beekse Bergen

Right next to the Safari park there’s another area for kids to enjoy: Speelland. Here you can relax at the beach while the kids play in the water or build a sand castle. Or they can go for a ride in a monster truck or jump on one of the trampolines. There’s a restaurant where you can get food and refreshments. Speelland is especially nice with warm weather.

Discover the Oertijdmuseum in Boxtel

The Oertijdmuseum in Boxtel is a fascinating place for kids who love dinosaurs and fossils. The museum features life-sized dinosaur models, interactive exhibits, and a large collection of fossils. Meet Woezel & Pip at De Tovertuin

De Tovertuin is a new theme park that opened up in 2026. It’s home of ‘Woezel& Pip’, two Dutch dogs from picture books that also have online videos. The park is perfect for kids aged 2 to 6. It has a few rides that are all safe for little children. There’s also an indoor playground for rainy days.

Make your own chocolate sprinkles at The Chocolate Factory

Did you know that you can visit a chocolate factory in Brabant? The kids can do all kinds of tasks to learn about how a factory works, they can even create their own chocolate sprinkles and granola bar (which they can take home with them). On the top floor there’s a cafe (with an amazing view), where you can reserve a chocolate fondue or order hot chocolate (or other drinks). The kids will be entertained for hours!

Visit the Speelboerderij De Vossenberg

Speelboerderij De Vossenberg is a wonderful farm play area where kids can enjoy a variety of activities. There are animals to pet, a large indoor play area, and outdoor playgrounds. The farm also offers tractor rides and pony rides, making it a fun and interactive experience for children. It’s a perfect spot for a day of play and exploration. You can find De Vossenberg just south of Tilburg.

Discover the Prehistoric Village in Eindhoven

The Prehistoric Village (prehistorisch Dorp) in Eindhoven is an open-air museum where kids can step back in time. They can see how people lived in prehistoric times and participate in hands-on activities like making fire, pottery, and archery. Have Fun at Eindhoven Zoo

Eindhoven Zoo (previously Dierenrijk Nuenen) is a fantastic zoo designed with children in mind. It features a wide variety of animals, including bears, tigers, and elephants. A fun day at Kids Wonderland, Molenschot

Kids Wonderland in Molenschot is more than an outdoor and indoor playground, it almost has the theme park status if you ask me. Because besides several soft play areas, there are also attractions like the Submarine Mono-rail. Kids Wonderland is right next to Capfun vacation park ‘Wondermolen’, if you stay at the park you can enter Kids Wonderland for free. Click here to see my video of Kids Wonderland.

Immerse yourself at Motion Experience in Eindhoven

Motion Experience in the city center of Eindhoven will entertain your kids for hours, perfect for rainy days! This interactive experience is like a light art playground. Draw on the walls with virtual paint and larger than life paintbrush, dive in the ball pit, have a slice of cake surrounded by digital butterflies and have your picture taken in the dome of light. Just a few of the fun things you can do at Motion. Make sure to bring your camera, because this is one of the best Instagram spots of Eindhoven.

Take a dive at the Sportiom swimming pool in Den Bosch

Those who like water, will love the Sportiom swimming pool in Den Bosch. Sportiom’s AquaFun in Den Bosch is a vibrant, family-friendly swimming paradise in North Brabant, perfect for a day out with kids. Themed with colorful decor, it offers a variety of attractions for all ages. Thrill-seekers can enjoy five exciting slides, including the Wild River and Duo Racer, while younger children have their own safe space with a toddler pool and spray park . The wave pool adds to the fun, creating an ocean-like experience indoors. For relaxation, there are bubble baths and a terrace to unwind. AquaFun also features a heated outdoor pool and sunbathing area, open during warmer months.

Explore the pools and slides at Tongelreep, Eindhoven

Another great swimming pool in Brabant is the newly renovated Tongelreep in Eindhoven. They’ve got several baths and multiple slides. The eye catcher is a giant diver statue, that every once in a while shows a little video clip in his helmet. The Tongelreep has something for everyone. From splash pools for the little ones, to exciting slides for the teens. There’s also a spray park outside and a relatively good restaurant for a swimming pool!

Great fun for small kids at Pukkemuk, Dongen

Pukkemuk in Dongen is a delightful, all-weather attraction in Noord‑Brabant that blends a playful indoor and outdoor playground, hands-on farm fun, and splash zones. Pukkemuk is perfect for children aged roughly 0 to 12 years. Inside, there’s a spacious hall with a soft‑play ball pit and toddler area for little ones, and a large climbing structure with slides and a jumping pillow for older kids. Outside, families enjoy a skelter track, a huge sand‑and‑water zone, air‑trampolines, and a water playground.

Jump around at Bounce Valley, Breda and Eindhoven

Looking for a supercharged, weather-proof spot where kids can unleash their boundless energy? Bounce Valley delivers exactly that in two convenient locations in Noord-Brabant. Bounce Valley in Breda and Eindhoven offers an air-cushion playground full of obstacle runs, slides, ninja-style challenges, and wipe-out zones. They both have free parking, kids-proof restaurants and options for Birthday parties. In short, Bounce Valley offers a safe, exhilarating, and totally unique indoor playground experience that is perfect for active kids across Noord-Brabant.

Kid friendly restaurant Pannenkoekenbos, Esch

This restaurant, close to Den Bosch, Eindhoven and Tilburg, is perfect to take your kids to! It has delicious pancakes (over 70 different kinds!), which is reason enough for kids to want to go there all the time. But there’s more! There’s a nice outdoor play area with trampolines, slides and more. But also when it’s raining, the kids will be entertained at Pannenoekenbos in Esch as there’s an indoor playground and a wonderful scavenger hunt where kids have to find all kinds of letters with animals hidden all through the restaurant. Also nice: with each children’s pancake, the kids will get a coin that they can spend on a toy in the shop.

Family friendly restaurant Charlie

Family restaurant Charlie is located in Schaijk. The location is perfect to keep the kids entertained for hours while you enjoy a nice lunch, apperetivo or dinner in the restaurant or on the terrace. Restaurant Charlie in Schaijk has a large outdoor play area with water, sand and a playground.

Pancake adventure at Koeckers in Zundert and Den Hout

Pancake restaurant Koeckers has two locations, one North of Breda in Den Hout and one South of Breda in Zundert. Both are amazing restaurants to take the kids. They’ve got big play rooms, nice scavenger hunts and a shop where kids can buy toys with coins that they get with their pancakes. My son loved Koeckers in Den Hout because the bar looked like a castle.

Get lost at Rimboe’s Doolhof in Oisterwijk

Have you discovered this maze in Brabant yet? Download one of the three games on your smartphone and find your way through this bamboo maze near Oisterwijk (Tilburg). There’s a QR code at the entrance that you can scan to buy the games. For 9,99 you’ll get access to three games. For the most popular one, your kids will have to find barcodes in the maze, which you’ll scan with your phone. You’ll get a question and if you answer it correctly, you’ll get a clue for the next barcode. You can find Rimboe’s Speeldoolhof (play maze) at the Spoordijk in Oisterwijk.

Admire craftsmanship at the Mini Efteling in Nieuwkuijck

Did you know that there’s a Mini Efteling in Brabant? In a residential area in Nieuwkuijck you can admire the craftsmanship of a man who started building ‘Carnaval Festival’ in his shed in 1984 and has been expanding his mini Efteling ever since. You can find several Efteling characters or Efteling-inspired attractions, but there are also other displays. You reserve a time-slot and you’ll get a tour around in which you see the different shows and displays. With less than 10 Euro entree fee, including a drink, this makes for a great cheap alternative for kids in Brabant. Make sure to reserve your ticket beforehand on the website, and please note that they’re closed in winter.
