Brunch at Coffeelicious

I had a delicious brunch at Coffeelicious. Coffeelicious is a breakfast and lunchroom with 4 locations in the Netherlands; 2 in Dordrecht, 1 in the Hague, 1 in Rotterdam and 1 in Breda. They have an extensive breakfast menu that they serve until 4pm and a lunch menu that is served until 4:30. Making it the perfect spot for brunch as you can order anything from the menu!

I went to Coffeelicious in Breda. On the menu you’ll find savory breakfast items, toasted sandwiches (6 different ones) and 4 different open sandwiches.
Savory breakfast items include soda bread with scrambled eggs, avocado with chili flakes and goats cheese and Greek yogurt with homemade granola and fresh fruit.
The toasted sandwiches are mainly paninis, like my favorite: a panini with mozzarella, pesto and avocado.
The open sandwiches are delicious savory bread dishes with quite a few ingredients. Like the Dutch Sandwich with red beetroot, walnuts and blue cheese.

There’s a separate vegan section on the menu with 5 different dishes. From banana pancakes to a power-food buddha bowl. They were also able to serve a few gluten-free dishes for my friend.

You can also go for a shared breakfast if you’re with at least 2 people. It’s a great way of tasting a little bit of everything. Well, I say ‘a little bit’ but as you can see on the picture the portions are quite big!
On our shared brunch platter we had pancakes with fresh fruit, scrambled egg (optionally on gluten-free bread), yogurt with fresh fruit (optionally with granola), banana bread and a gluten free scone with clotted cream and jam.

Besides all this delicious food, they also have many coffee variaties, fresh tea and many juices and smoothies.
