Every year so many nice festivals are organized in Brabant, the province in the Netherlands where I live. Although I really like going to music festivals, my favorite kind of festivals are food festivals. On this page I’ve listed all the food festivals in Brabant in 2020. It’s your complete guide for all food truck and other food (and beer/wine) festivals in Brabant this year.
April
April 3-5, Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda
The Hop On Hop Off Festival is a festival that focusses on beers. Besides several craft beer stands, there are also food trucks at the festival.
April 12-13 Festival Fier, Hilvarenbeek
Every year at Easter it’s time for Festival Fier in Hilvarenbeek (close to Tilburg). Their motto is ‘smaak & vermaak’, so they take care of flavors and entertainment.
April 17-18, Biergarten, Tilburg
A perfect festival to celebrate the start of spring is the two day beer festival Biergarten in Tilburg. The festival is located at cafe RAW in the Spoorzone, right next to central station. Entrance is for free and there are several areas with beer tastings, cocktails and fingerfood.
April 19, Feel Good Market, Eindhoven
Every 3rd Sunday of the month (with some exceptions) you can visit the Feel Good Market in Eindhoven. The market sells all kind of hand-made goods and organic foods. There’s often live music and all kinds of workshops. The market takes place at Strijp-S from noon to 6pm.
April 12-13, Fort Isabella Fair, Vught
Fort Isabella Fair is one of the most kid-friendly events in Brabant. There are all kinds of activities, of which many are suitable for children.
May
May 17, Feel Good Market, Eindhoven
Every 3rd Sunday of the month (with some exceptions) you can visit the Feel Good Market in Eindhoven. The market takes place at Strijp-S from noon to 6pm.
May 21-24, Appeltje Eitje, Roosendaal
The most Western city of Brabant has a beer and food-truck festival called Appeltje Eitje. Literally translated ‘apple and egg’, it’s a Dutch idiom for an easy task. And life is pretty easy at this festival with local food and nice beers.
May 22-24, Gezellige Zaken, Den Bosch
At Gezellige Zaken you’ll find stands from all kinds of restaurants from Den Bosch. With a maximum of 6€ per dish, you can try quite a few and have a culinary journey through ‘s-Hertogenbosch by staying at one square.
May 23 Beer, Burgers and Two Smoking Barrels, Helmond
Besides their super fun name that references to a movie, the Beer Burgers and Two Smoking Barrels festival in Helmond has other reasons to visit them too. They’ve got a great line-up of artisan beers and they serve great burgers.
May 29 – June 1, Hap-Stap Festival, Tilburg
I never miss the Hap Stap Festival in my hometown Tilburg. It’s very centrally located in the garden of the Interpolis office and has a very relaxed atmosphere. You won’t find any food-trucks here, but local restaurants that each have their own tent and a special finger food menu.
May 29 – June 1, Bumperkluiven, Breda
Bumperkluiven is a food-truck festival that last year took place in Breda and Tilburg. For 2020 they’ve only released this date in Breda yet (Bumperkluiven in Tilburg might take place in August). It takes place in a park and is very child-friendly.

June 5-7, Festival Smul, Uden
Food-truck Festival Smul in Uden takes place for the 4th time this year. Bring your own picknick cloth and sit down at the Sportpark while you and your friends take turns walking to the different food trucks for your next dish.
June 21, Feel Good Market, Eindhoven
Every 3rd Sunday of the month (with some exceptions) you can visit the Feel Good Market in Eindhoven. The market takes place at Strijp-S from noon to 6pm.
June 26-28, Smaak Karavaan, Tilburg
Smaak Karavaan takes place in the Spoorzone, right behind the central station. There are all kinds of food trucks and acts like jugglers. Last year it was in September, so mark your calendars not to miss this earlier one!
June 28, Tilburgs Bierfestival, Tilburg
Celebrating the craft beer culture in Tilburg and the Netherlands, the Tilburgs Bierfestival takes place at the Heuvel. All kinds of craft beer brewers will showcase their beers at this festival.
July
July 9-12, Festival TREK, Den Bosch
This will be the 7th season for Festival TREK, so it was one of the first foodtruck festivals in the Netherlands. There are food trucks with dishes from all over the world present at TREK.
July 19, Feel Good Market
Every 3rd Sunday of the month (with some exceptions) you can visit the Feel Good Market in Eindhoven. The market takes place at Strijp-S from noon to 6pm.
August
August 14-15, Hopwagon Festival, Tilburg
Hopwagon is a craft beer and food pairing festival in the Spoorzone in Tilburg.
August 28-30, Foodfestival TREK, Tilburg
After Festival Trek has been to Den Bosch, they close up the food truck festival season of Brabant in Tilburg. You can find TREK in the Spoorzone.
