My favorite hotel in Liverpool: Hope Street Hotel

My favorite hotel in Liverpool is Hope Street Hotel. Hope Street Hotel is an independent 4 star hotel in the center of Liverpool. I stayed there during my trip to Northern England and I absolutely loved it. And I’m not alone; I’ve been told that even Lady Gaga, Kanye West and Quentin Tarantino stayed in this hotel!
On this page I’ll tell you more about Hope Street Hotel and its restaurant The London Carriage Works.

You can find the Hope Street Hotel in Liverpool’s Georgian neighborhood, right across from the Philharmonic Hall. It’s an individual boutique hotel. The rooms have a very natural feel to it with a lot of natural materials and white bedlinnen. My room had a lot of daylight which made it very pleasant to arrive in.

They have 3 different rooms at Hope Street Hotel Liverpool; King Standard, Kind Deluxe and Studio Room. They also have 3 different kind of suites. Every room is in the style of the Hope Street Hotel; natural materials like wood and brick combined with tints of white. My bathroom had a shower with an overhead rain shower and a separate bath tub.

Each room at the Hope Street Hotel in Liverpool has its own Nespresso Coffee machine and water kettle. The coffee and tea in your room is complimentary as are the cookies that you can find there as well.
Each room has airconditioning, wi-fi and a hair-dryer.
There’s a 24hour gym in the hotel that you can use as a hotel guest.

Breakfast is served at the London Carriage Works restaurant. There’s an extensive buffet with all kinds of items that you can choose from. From toast to croissants and from fresh fruits to cereals. And you can choose an item from their breakfast menu. I went for the Eggs Florentine; poached eggs with spinach and hollandaise sauce, served with white toasted bloomer.

Hope Street Hotel has a 24 hour room service. So breakfast, lunch or dinner can be served to your hotel room. You can order anything from the menu of The London Carriage Works or from the special night menu between 10pm and 7am. They even deliver your drink orders to your room for free.

You would really miss out if you didn’t try anything from the London Carriage Works restaurant. Whether it’s in your room or in the restaurant itself; they have many delicious things to choose from. During the day you can go for the wonderful Afternoon Tea at TLCW, you can read more about it on my page with food spots in Liverpool.
But also for dinner TLCW is a great restaurant to go to. They have delicious meat and fish dishes as well as several vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes that are clearly market. The vegan Garden Sharing Platter is a great starter with smoked beetroot, tempura broccoli, roasted cauliflower, butter bean houmous and much more. The baby courgette flower with citrus ricotta tortellini, spinach and thyme was my favorite dinner dish. And you have to promise me to order dessert at TLCW. The chocolate orange (pictured) is amazing!
