The end of the year is always a great moment to look back on what you’ve done. I also like to look back on everything I wrote on my website in 2019. I’ve travelled to many new destinations and have inspired many visitors to see more of the world. On this page I’m sharing my most popular travel blogs of 2019. This are the five most read travel blogs in 2019 on my website. I’m starting with the number 5 and counting down to the most popular travel blog of 2019.
5 Copenhagen

On number 5 you’ll find my blog about breakfast spots in Copenhagen. I was in Copenhagen for the third time this spring. I’ve got three blog posts about Copenhagen on my blog; one about good vegan food spots in Copenhagen, one about the SKT PETRI Hotel and the most read one is my blog post about breakfast spots. I guess I’m not the only one who loves breakfast (follow #annelovesbreakfast on Instagram for all my breakfasts).
On my breakfast spots in Copenhagen blog, I share my top 3 favorite spots in the capital of Denmark to start your day. All listed restaurants have good vegetarian or vegan options.

4 Madagascar

In January we came back from our trip to Madagascar. Madagascar is one of the poorest countries in the world and not very touristic. I can imagine that that’s why many people want to find out more about it before they go. I even wrote a blog post with things you should know before you go to Madagascar, written from my own experience (I wish I went better prepared).
In Madagascar we went on a road-trip down the RN7. This is Madagascars only highway and the only road that’s easy to drive. The RN7 goes from capital city Antananarivo to Tulear on the West-Coast.

3 South Africa

Even though it’s already been 3 years ago since I’ve been to South Africa, it’s still one of the most read blog post on my blog. South Africa is a wonderful and very diverse country. I recommend going there when it’s winter in the Northern Hemisphere so you can enjoy their summer. I went to Cape Town, did a road trip in the Western Cape (including the Garden Route) and went to Kruger Park.
I’ve created a video from our trip to South Africa for my YouTube channel and you can read the blog post on South Africa here.
2 Hamburg

On number two we find my blog post about food spots in Hamburg. I really loved this harbor city in Germany, it’s an industrial city that has undergone a transformation to a hip and happening gem. My blog post about Instagrammable spots in Hamburg also made it to my top 10 most read travel blogs of 2019, but my most popular blog about Hamburg is about 10 great food spots. This breakfast at Hotel Tortue is in the top 10 of best food spots, although it’s very Instagrammable too!

1 Amsterdam

Without a doubt my most popular blog post of 2019 is my blog post about Instagrammable restaurants in Amsterdam. This blog has been read 3 times more than the number 2! I’ve listed all Instagram worthy food spots in Amsterdam and I guess many people are looking for great Instagram spots in Amsterdam. From an all pink restaurant to freakshakes; I’ve listed all photogenic restaurants in Amsterdam on one page.
