Mimi’s Hotel 

Mimi’s Hotel is a three star hotel, right in the city center of London in the lively neighborhood Soho. With the theaters of West End, Oxford St, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square all within walking distance, this hotel is a great starting point to go shopping, visit a musical or comedy show or go out for a drink.

Mimi’s Hotel is a new building behind an old facade. Giving you both that historic feel, as all the benefits from a new hotel like maximum sound insulation for the walls and doors and under floor heating throughout the rooms and bathrooms. The hotel has 53 rooms that are compact and beautifully designed.

On the ground floor you’ll find The Henson’s Bar. The bar boasts a bohemian chic atmosphere with its fireplace, reclaimed oak flooring, and custom-made furniture. During the morning, it serves as a cozy breakfast and meeting venue, providing an extensive array of teas and coffees. As night falls, the bar undergoes a lively transformation into a vibrant cocktail lounge, showcasing a diverse and indulgent drinks menu that adds to the hotel’s distinctive boudoir-inspired ambiance.

The rooms at Mimi’s Hotel

The rooms at Mimi’s Hotel Soho in London have a beautiful interior design. It’s warm and welcoming with a bit of English country house charm. The rooms are perfect for a romantic getaway. Each room has a big comfortable bed and light blocking curtains.

Our room had a spacious bathroom with both a walk-in shower and a bathtub. The marble look gave it a luxurious feel and the provided bathrobes and Molton Brown products provided the just the right fancy touch. 

Because all the bars close relatively early in London, and because Mimi’s Hotel is well isolated; you don’t hear noise from the streets when you’re going to bed. Which I think is a big pro, considering you’re in this lively area.

So you’ll have a quiet, welcoming, picturesque hotel room that’ll make you feel right at home.

Soho

Soho is probably the best neighborhood in London to stay at. It’s the most central area to book a hotel in. In Soho you can find many shops, restaurants and bars. It’s the neighborhood where you want to spend your evening. One of my favorite cocktail bars in Londons, The Little Scarlet Door, is just around the corner from Mimi’s Hotel. You can dance the night away on their dancefloor downstairs and within a minute you’re back in your hotel room.
And you don’t have to walk far for brunch the next morning either. Australia inspired brunch restaurant Milk Beach Soho is just a few meters away from Mimi’s Hotel.
