Vegan Double Chocolate Oreo American Cookies

I made vegan Double Chocolate Oreo American cookies. These American cookies have a cacao in the dough, chocolate chunks and Oreo cookie pieces. Perfect cookies for chocolate lovers! These American cookies are 100% vegan, so they’re also lactose free. And these cookies are free of nuts and peanuts.

I used a vegan cookie mixture for these American cookies. It was a 500gram package and from that package I could make around 12 cookies. Using a mixture like that makes it really easy to bake American cookies. All you have to do is add some margarine and water. It’s great if you have friends or family coming over. You don’t need to be in the kitchen long, and you can still serve them some homemade vegan cookies. Another great benefit is that you can buy the mixture long beforehand so that you have it handy whenever you feel like baking something vegan.

I’ve made this cookies perfect for chocolate lovers. With cacao powder, chocolate chunks and Oreo cookies. But you can of course make all kinds of variations. It’s also great with pecans or other nuts, or (vegan) white chocolate. Scroll down for the recipe for these vegan Double Chocolate Oreo American Cookies.

Recipe vegan Double Chocolate Oreo American Cookies

Ingredients:
1 package vegan American cookie mixture (500 grams)
100 grams margarine, room temperature
60 ml water
3 tablespoons cacao powder
75 grams chocolate chips
8 Oreo cookies, crumbled

Pre-heat the oven to 190°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Put the cookie mixture, cacao powder, soft margarine and water in a bowl and mix until combined. Spoon in the chocolate chips and crumbled Oreo cookies.
Use an ice cream scoop to transfer the dough to the baking sheet, so that all cookies will be the same size. Press them down slightly. Make sure to leave some room in between the cookies as they’ll spread.
Bake the cookies in 10-12 minutes.
