Hoogstraten

Hoogstraten is a lovely town in Belgium. You can find it at the North of Belgium, near the border with the Netherlands. It’s located in nature area De Kempen so there’s enough to do for those who like walking or cycling. But it’s also close to cities like Antwerp, Baarle-Nassau/Baarle-Hertog and Breda in the Netherlands. So it’s a great base to explore the region. But there’s also plenty to do in Hoogstraten itself.

Bed and Breakfast Toast

Toast, or officially spelled as Tøast, is located in a beautiful mansion at the main street of Hoogstraten. The building has a lot of character and owner Kathy has decorated the rooms in a lovely manner.
B&B Toast has three rooms; De Opkamer, De Loft and De Zolder
De Opkamer is located on a mezzanine, has a walk-in shower and a bathtub. De Loft is a spacious room with a bathtub in the room. And De Zolder is the room on the attic with a separate bedroom with a walk-in shower.
All the rooms have a luxurious feel with very comfortable beds, plants, decoration and a coffee and tea maker.

Breakfast

Besides the beautiful rooms, there’s another reason why I’d recommend B&B Toast in Hoogstraten for your stay, and that’s the breakfast. Owner Kathy takes really good care of you. We got yoghurt with granola and fresh fruit, sandwiches with charcuterie and a fresh salad. And if you want she makes a tasty omelet for you.
The Breakfast is served in the lunchroom of Toast.

Toast Breakfast and Lunch

On weekdays, Toast is also open for breakfast and lunch for everyone, so also if you’re not staying at the B&B you can enjoy the hospitality of Kathy and her team. She serves various breakfast plates that you can share with your company. There’s also a kids corner inside the restaurant and a small play area outside for kids to play while you enjoy your tasty breakfast.
Toast is open for breakfast to the public on weekdays from 8am to 3pm.
