Rhodes Town

Rhodes is the principal city of the island Rhodes in Greece. It’s located at the Northern tip of the island. It has an old town and a new part. The old town is especially nice to visit and to book your hotel in.
It’s a medieval town, one of the best-preserved in Europe. Around the old town are fortifications, and there are only a few gates from which you can enter. In the old town you can find some beautiful sights of Rhodes and many shops and restaurants. You can easily spend a day just wandering around the old streets. The In Camera Boutique Hotel is located in the middle of this charming old town.

In Camera Boutique Hotel

The In Camera Boutique Hotel is located in a wonderful old estate that is completely renovated. The art hotel has several suites, that are all different. The hotel owner is Nikos Kasseris, a photographer. That explains the name of the hotel, but also the art on the walls (photographs) and the old cameras that are on display in the suites.
There are 10 different suites. All one-of-a-kind. With names like ‘a travel into the light’ and ‘Mediterranean Pearls’ you know you’ll enter a beautiful hotel room.

Breakfast at In Camera Boutique Hotel

Every morning a very extensive breakfast buffet is served at the hotel. It’s served at the balcony of the hotel, so you can have a nice outdoor lunch with views over a square of Rhodes Old Town. The cook serves different delicious dishes every morning, like Oreo pancakes, Cheesecake Brownies or Crepe with honey, walnuts and banana. There are also sandwiches, croissants, different kind of jams, yogurt with muesli, superfoods, fruit, cheese and more. She also makes all kinds of egg dishes upon request. It was such a pleasure to start each day with a wonderful breakfast at the hotel.

Panselinos Suite

During our stay at the In Camera Boutique Hotel in Rhodes Town, we stayed at the Panselinos Suite. Panselinos means Full Moon in Greek. The suite, spanning 35 square meters, proudly displays Nikos Kasseris’ personal cameras. Situated on the ground floor of the hotel, it encompasses two levels. The first level boasts a living area with two sofa beds, adorned with a ceramic floor. Ascending two steps to the second level, guests will find the bedroom, furnished with a king-sized bed, and a bathroom equipped with Jacuzzi showers. Adjacent to the bed lies a porcelain bathtub.

Additionally, the suite offers a private garden outfitted with an outdoor hot tub, a wooden deck, two sun beds, and a mini lounge area. I loved having a private garden with a hot tub to relax in during our stay in Rhodes.
