The Happiness Bakery

I was already a big fan of The Happiness Cafe in Eindhoven, a lunchroom with many vegetarian options, and now they’ve opened up The Happiness Bakery a stone’s throw away. This spot is located in the beautiful concept store Hutspot. It’s the perfect place to sit down with a cup of coffee or tea and to enjoy some good food on a day of shopping.

Op het menu staan (all day) breakfast bowls met hun huisgemaakte suikervrije granola en verschillende vegan variaties zoals de acai bowl of de carrot cake overnight oats. Their morning bakery items include wholegrain croissants or sugar free, vegan oat-spelt scones with raisins and seeds.

For lunch they have sandwiches and salads. The spelt bun with goat cheese and caramelized pear is very popular. Just like the vegan quinoa salad with avocado, hummus and grilled vegetables.

But what’s the most awesome thing at The Happiness Bakery is definitely the vegetarian or vegan high tea! Look at this big plate filled with goodies! Spelt buns with different toppings, homemade salads, cold pressed juices, banana bread, carrot cakes, chocolate cakes… you won’t go home hungry!

If you don’t have the time to sit down and enjoy one of the delicious dishes, you can also buy some chocolate to take home with you. I’m sure you’ll make people very happy if you bring a bag of these chocolates home with you!
