June Tilburg

June is among my top picks for brunch spots in Tilburg. Their menu boasts a wide variety of both savory and sweet brunch and lunch options, all of which are vegetarian. You can savor classic delights like Eggs Florentine, or opt for more contemporary brunch fare such as Whipped Feta, Loaded Hummus, and Carrot Cake Baked Oats. If you’re in for breakfast, I highly recommend the avocado toast with your choice of poached egg or mushrooms for a vegan twist, or the delectable French Toast paired with a coffee infused with hazelnut and banana flavors. The chic and airy interior design further enhances the overall ambiance. Click here to read more about June Tilburg.
June Tilburg, Nieuwlandstraat 16, is open from 8:30am to 5 pm on Wednesday to Fridays, from 9-5 on Saturdays and from 10:30-5 on Sundays. June Tilburg is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Buutvrij

Buutvrij, a creative coffee cafe, makes for an ideal first stop in Tilburg, given its proximity to the train station. Their breakfast and lunch offerings are both appealing, and it’s an excellent spot for enjoying a high-quality coffee, get inspired by their interior, and exploring the works of local emerging artists, as they regularly showcase art by talented young designers. Vegetarian choices are consistently available at Buutvrij. Additionally, keep an eye on their Facebook page for updates on special events, including live music performances. Conveniently situated along the route from the central station to the city center, it’s a must-visit. Click here to read more about Buutvrij.
Buutvrij, Stationstraat 49, is open from 8:30am to 4:30pm on Mondays to Fridays and from 10-4:30 on Saturdays and Sundays.

Locals

Just a short distance away from Buutvrij, you’ll find Locals. They serve a delicious breakfast, brunch and lunch with mostly local products. Besides their savory and sweet brunch dishes they also sell home-made pastries. They have many vegetarian and vegan options on their menu. Locals has their own coffee roastery, so they serve coffees made with their own blend. You can also buy your Locals coffee for at home in the restaurant. Click here to read more about Locals.
Locals, Heuvelstraat 128, is open from 9:30am to 5pm Monday to Sunday.

BAM! Tilburg

BAM! Tilburg is one of my favorite brunch restaurants in Tilburg to go with kids. They’ve got a small play corner in the back of the restaurant so that the kids can play while you enjoy your cup of coffee. BAM! has a very tasty breakfast, brunch and lunch menu. With for example French Toast or this Focaccia with mozzarella.
BAM! Tilburg, Frederikstraat 55, is open on Monday from 12 to 4:30pm, Tuesdays to Fridays from 9am to 4:30pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 9 to 5.

Anne & Max Tilburg

One of my favorite breakfast and brunch restaurants in the Netherlands also has a branch in Tilburg: Anne & Max. And I don’t only like them because of the name, but also because their great menu with many vegetarian and vegan options. They have a great ‘Breakfast for 2’ platter, with various types of bread, savory and sweet toppings, scrambled eggs with bacon or hot-smoked Scottish salmon, yogurt with crunchy granola, and a juice of your choice. You can also order a vegan version of their breakfast platter. And you can also order all kinds of breakfast and brunch dishes a-la-carte.
Anne & Max Tilburg, Frederikstraat 284, is open from 9am to 6pm on Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 6pm on Sunday.

30 ML Tilburg

30ml Coffee started in Utrecht with a small establishment that aimed to serve exceptionally good coffee. It has since evolved into a franchise with multiple locations throughout the Netherlands. The 30ml Coffee in Tilburg features an attractive interior characterized by ample use of white, wood, and light green elements. Their all-day brunch menu includes wholesome dishes like the “avolicious” with avocado and poached egg, as well as delectable sweet options like pancakes.
30ML Tilburg, Oude Markt 5, is open from 10am to 5pm on Sunday and Monday and from 9 to 5 on Tuesday to Saturday.

Bikken en Bakken

Bikken en Bakken is a delightful bakery that you can find at the Piushaven, offering a delightful array of freshly baked goods, from artisanal bread to delectable pastries. However, it’s not just a haven for those in search of the perfect loaf or buttery bun; Bikken en Bakken offers their guests the opportunity to sit down and savor a leisurely breakfast or lunch at the bakery. They also have a large terrace overlooking the harbour, perfect for breakfast or brunch in the sun during summer days. And no matter what you choose from their menu, you can always count on their signature home-baked bread or buns.

Lunchcafe Nieuwland

Lunchcafé Nieuwland is located on Radiopleintje in Tilburg, where the bustling main shopping street intersects with the charming, small-scale Dwaalgebied (wandering district). Nieuwland is a bright and refreshing daytime establishment decorated with plants and cacti, with a sunny terrace that and a relaxed and personal ambiance. The menu is extensive and distinctive, featuring homemade dishes both sweet and savory.
Lunchcafe Nieuwland, Nieuwlandstraat 66, is open from 9am to 4:30 pm Monday to Saturday. They’re closed on Sundays.

Dwars

Dwars, the hotdog restaurant on the Korvelseweg, is also open for brunch and lunch on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. They open at 10am, and although you can also order their hotdogs throughout the day, I’d recommend one of their brunch dishes. The red velvet waffle with frosting, blueberries and pistache crumble (Red Rose) is one of my favorites. But they’ve also got waffle and fried chicken or brioche toast with smashed avocado and scrambled egg for the lovers of a savory brunch.
