Niu Dairy Hotel in Haarlem

Looking for a nice hotel in Haarlem? I recommend the niu Dairy Hotel! The niu hotels are part of the NOVUM Hospitality group that has 161 hotels in Europe. They’re all 3 or 4 star hotels that are centrally located. The hotels are named NOVUM Hotels, Select Hotels or niu. niu stands for native, inspiring and unique. The niu Dairy hotel in Haarlem is the first niu hotel in the Netherlands.

The niu Dairy hotel is located very close to the city center of Haarlem, within walking distance of the train station and right next to concert hall Het Patronaat (hence the album covers in the hotel lobby that you see on the picture). From the niu Dairy hotel it’s a short ride to the beach and within 20 minutes you’re at Schiphol Airport. You can go to Amsterdam by train in less than 20 minutes.

The niu Dairy Hotel is located in an old milk factory (hence the namen ‘dairy’). Everywhere in the interior you see references to the former use of the location. There are golden cows in the hotel rooms, the bedside lamps have the shape of milk bottles and you’ll see pictures of sheep and cows in the corridors. Each niu hotel always looks at the location and the premises and they base their hotel concept on that.

The beds at the niu Dairy hotel in Haarlem are very comfortable and the room has everything you’ll need. From wifi to a bluetooth speaker and from soft towels to free shower gel. In the lobby you’ll be able to buy drinks and snacks as well as gifts for your friends back home.

niu works together with the non-profit organization Viva con Agua which is committed to providing clean drinking water and sanitation for everyone worldwide. In every niu hotel  you’ll find art from artists who are committed to Viva con Agua. In niu Dairy you’ll find the art of artist Bobbie Serrano in the corridors.
