Several poké bowl restaurants came and went in Tilburg. On this page I’m telling you where you can get a good poke bowl in Tilburg. Poke is originally a raw fish salad served as an appetizer from Hawaii, but nowadays poké bowls are sold in all kinds of varieties and are often a lunch or dinner dish. Poke Bowls no longer have to contain fish, the poke bowls that are for sale in Tilburg also have versions with chicken or vegetarian or even vegan versions. On this page I’m telling you more about the best spots in Tilburg to get your healthy take-out, delivery or stay-in poké bowl.
1 Poké and More
Poké and More opened up in March 2018 at the Stadhuisplein in the city center of Tilburg. You can create your own poké bowl or go for one of the 8 poké specials that are created by Poké and More. They’ve just launched a new menu with the ‘Veganlicious’ being my favorite. It’s with vegetarian bacon, dates and chickpeas. What I love about Poké and More is that they have more options for the base than white rice, they also have pearl couscous, courgette noodles, nacho’s and quinoa.
2 PokéYouAfter Hoki Poki and Sorry not Sorry closed down, we only had 1 Poke Bowl restaurant left in Tilburg. But since August 2020, we have another one: Poké You. You can find Poké You near the Albert Heijn XL supermarket. For now they’re only open for take-away, but they’ll be open for delivery soon. You can go for one of the poké bowls from the menu or design your own. You can choose between white or brown sushi rice or lettuce as the base and choose from almost 20 ingredients. They have enough vegetarian and vegan options to choose from.
3 Asian Cuisine Den Besterd
It’s not a Poke Bowl restaurant, but at Asian Cuisine Den Besterd they do also sell Poke Bowls. It’s a take-away restaurant that’s often overlooked but that’s a real shame as this family owned restaurant serves delicious dishes. Pictured you see their vegetarian poke bowl with veggie chicken.
4 Miss Temaki
Miss Temaki is one of the food stands at Gourmet Market Central Station in Tilburg. They serve Japanse food, mostly sushi. But they also have Poke Bowls. They’ve got five different ones; with salmon, chicken, tuna, shrimp or vegetarian.
At the moment these are the only 2 Poké bowl restaurants in Tilburg and a few others that have poke bowls on their menu. Hoki poke and Sorry not Sorry are both closed.
