Golden Tulip the Garden is my favorite hotel in Strasbourg. The hotel is centrally located, has an urban garden and most of all has beautiful rooms. I stayed in a wonderful suite on the upper floor when I was in Strasbourg in France. On this page you can read all about my room at Golden Tulip Hotel the Garden in the city center of Strasbourg and you can see pictures of the lobby and the restaurant.

The Golden Tulip hotel is centrally located in close walking distance of the train station of Strasbourg. Even though you’re in the city center, as soon as you enter the hotel doors, there’s a calm oasis. You’ll see these chairs hanging from the ceiling and there’s a large wall full of plants at your right hand side. You can tell by the service and facilities that it’s a 4 star hotel!
The rooms at Golden Tulip The Garden are also very calming. The nature element comes back in the rooms, as you can see here on the wallpaper above the bed. There are a 120 rooms in total; superior rooms, deluxe rooms, junior suites and suites. All rooms are spacious, even the smallest room is already 22 m2.
I stayed in a junior suite. All junior suites have a private balcony or rooftop terrace attached to the room. It was so cool to have your own terrace with your hotel room! Especially since the weather was great when I stayed there.
My junior suite had two rooms; the bedroom and a living room. It was a great room to relax during my trip. Speaking of relaxation; there’s also a spa and wellness centre in the Golden Tulip hotel. There’s a swimming pool with a starry sky, a hamman and a fitness center. You can also book several massages at the front desk. To keep the wellness area soothing, only a certain number of guests are allowed at each time-slot and children aren’t allowed there.
Every morning there’s a delicious breakfast buffet at the Golden Tulip hotel. With these croissants but also bread, granola, cheese, fruit, eggs, juice and much more. They had both American as French pancakes and many delicious pastries to choose from.

The restaurant of The Garden hotel is also open for dinner. They serve tasty tapas-style platters but you can also go for a starter, main and dessert. It’s worth leaving some room for dessert as they have a crème brûlée trilogy with hibiscus, tonka beans and matcha tea. Also nice; their brownie with ice cream or coffee/tea with three mini desserts.
