There are so many Instagram worthy foods in New York City! On this page I’ve listed all Instagrammable food spots in New York. From freak shakes to cute food, all these foods are very photogenic.
Bibble & Sip
How cute is this tart? Bibble & Sip in Chinatown is one of the cutest food spots in New York. There’s a neon alpaca sign, the macarons are the cutest and there are pastries in the shape of a fruit. They’re mostly famous for their cream puffs, but this lychee-berrie tart is my favorite.
They also have a location on West 51st street. Please note: last time I checked they were closed. I’m not sure if they’ll re-open again.
Taiyaki NYC
I know the fish shaped sweets from my trip to Japan. Taiyaki brings a taste of this Japanese sweet to NYC. They have fish shaped ice cream cones that you can fill with ice cream of your choice. I went for the Unicorn Taiyaki because, let’s be honest, that’s the most Instagrammable one!
You can find Taiyaki NYC in Chinatown in Manhattan, in Williamsburg in Brooklyn and next to the botanical garden in Queens.
Dynasty Dim Sum
At Dynasty Dim Sum they have these cute Hello Kitty buns. I love cute food, so I’m a big fan of these Hello Kitty bao buns!
The Dough Club
Everyday at 4pm The Dough Club in Chinatown starts selling these cute cat donuts. They’re only available until they sell out, so arrive around four to be sure to get them. Before 4pm they also serve ring shaped donuts.
New Territories
New Territories brings a taste of Hong Kong sweets to New York City. Their Bubble Waffles are famous and if you have one, you won’t have to eat for hours.
Coffee ‘n Clothes
Coffee ‘n Clothes is great for fashionista’s and fashion bloggers. Here you can get a real designer coffee. They’ve put the names of famous fashion designers on their coffees.
Supermoon Bakehouse
Supermoon Bakehouse is like a baker with the best imagination of the world. All the classic bakery dishes and pastries are turned into something colorful and fabulous. They’re very well known for their colored croissants, but they’ve got many other beautiful Instagram worthy dishes.
Davelle NYC
You can find Davelle in the Lower East Side, right under the Williamsburg Bridge. I recommend that you go here for breakfast or lunch, because from 8am to 3:30pm they serve these square toasts.
Davelle gets all Instagrammers; the menu has pictures of how the toast will look like.
LROOM Cafe
LRoom Cafe is all about flowers. Guests can smell and even taste flowers when they’re at this restaurant. The dishes are also quite Instagrammable. The savory dishes are a bit less picturesque but all the sweets are very Instagram worthy. The bubble waffle with strawberry ice-cream is real nice and they also have a dessert in the shape of an apple.
The Stackery
You can find The Stackery at Bryant Park in midtown. They serve a typical Eastern European pastry (I know it as Trdelnik from when I was in Prague), stuffed with sweets. The fillings are adjusted to the season, so whether it’s Christmas or Valentine’s Day; The Stackery has got a seasonal Instagram worthy snack.
Dominique Ansel
Dominique Ansel is a bakery in SOHO that sells delicious pastries and sweets. But everybody goes there for just one thing: the Cronut. The cronut is a combination between a doughnut and a croissant and is invented by Dominique Ansel himself. There’s only one flavor of the Cronut available and it changes every month. The Cronut pictured is with pistachio white chocolate, apricot jam and vanilla sugar. There’s also a Dominique Ansel bakery in London and Tokyo.
Junior’s Cheesecake
Located in the heart of touristic Manhattan, Junior’s Cheesecake is a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth and your Instagram feed!
The exterior is also quite Instagrammable with many lights.
Sweet Moment
Sweet Moment in Chinatown is a great spot for some Instagram worthy drinks. They decorate their lattes with cute figures.
Rolf’s German Restaurant
At Rolfs German Restaurant it’s always nicely decorated! The food is inspired by the Alsace region in France that has a huge German influence. It’s the region in which you can find Strasbourg. But I think most people come for the interior; as in December there are holiday decorations all over the ceiling! The Christmas themed decorations are only up in that season, but they do decorations for every season. The fall decorations in October and November are also impressive.
The Bagel Store
I don’t know if I ever ate something that looks so artificial in my life. But you’ve got to try everything once, right? The Bagel Store in Brooklyn is home to the Rainbow Bagel. Bagel artist Scot Rossillo created this colorful bagel that you can order with regular or funfetti cream cheese. If these colors are too much for you, you can also order all kinds of regular bagels at the Bagel Store. And it’s a good excuse to get away from Manhattan en visit hip Williamsburg in Brooklyn!
Tipsy Scoop
Another Instagrammable food spot in Brooklyn is Tipsy Scoop. This ice cream parlor for adults combines ice cream with liquor! And as you can see their portions are big and Instagrammable.
They also have a branch in Manhattan, in Midtown East.
