Brownies and Downies

The High Tea at Brownies and Downies at the Pieter Vreedeplein in Tilburg consists of 5 courses. You start with an amuse-bouche and soup with bread and herb-butter. After that you get two trays with savory bites and you end your high-tea with sweet treats. You get unlimited tea and regular coffee refills.
The High Tea is €25 per person, you can reserve by sending an email to tilburg@browniesanddownies.nl.

Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum

At the Mercure Hotel in the city center of Tilburg you get really spoiled if you book a high tea. You begin with a glass of bubbles, soup and amuses. Then you get a big tray with scones and savory bites like sandwiches. You get a glass of orange juice and unlimited amounts of fresh tea. After that you can visit the walk-in fridge to select your choice of friandises. And if that wasn’t enough, you’ll also get a dessert! They’ve also got a vegetarian and a gluten-free high tea.
The high tea is 24,50 per person and you can book it every day from noon to 5pm. You can call to +31 13-5354675 to reserve your high tea.

Lunchcafe Nieuwland

Lunch Café Nieuwland also offers a delicious high tea. With the high tea, they serve a small soup, three sandwiches with various toppings, a small scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam, two mini cakes, and unlimited fresh or organic tea. The price for the high tea is €28.50 per person. Reservations are required, regardless of whether you come with two or more people, and can only be made by calling 013-7851543. At Nieuwland, you can enjoy a high tea from Monday to Friday (excluding school holidays) with a group size of at least 2 and up to 6 people.
You can reserve the high tea for before noon or after 2:30 pm. On Fridays and Saturdays, you cannot reserve for groups larger than 6 people.

Bij Peerke Donders

Lunchroom Bij Peerke Donders in the North of Tilburg started offering high-tea’s in 2020. Their High Tea is a varied plate with all kinds of bites. From savory to sweet. You can book their high tea from Tuesdays to Saturdays. There’s a shift at 11:30 am and at 2:30 pm. It’s 23,50 per person. You can reserve by emailing to info@bijpeerkedonders.nl.

Buutvrij

At popular coffee cafe Buutvrij you can reserve one of the two backrooms for your group and have a delicious high-tea served there. It’s great for baby showers, wedding celebrations, work meetings or other (small) group gatherings. If you order the high tea, you don’t have to pay rent for the space. You can decorate the room if you want and there’s also a screen to show videos or a presentation. You can, of course, also reserve a high tea with a small group (starting from 2 people) at Buutvrij and simply sit in the café. The high tea costs €26.50 per person. Reservations can be made by emailing info@buutvrijtilburg.nl.

TED’s

TED’s got a great location; on a boat in the Piushaven harbour. They serve an Afternoon-T as they call it on weekdays from 2 pm onward and in weekends from 3 pm onward. You’ll get an étagère filled with delicious sweets, parmesan truffle fries & an assortment of Teds all-time favorites from their menu. The original afternoon tea is 27,50 per person and the vegetarian version is 32,50 per person. You’ll be asked to pay 5 euro per person in advance.

Karakter

Karakter is located a bit out of the city center, but at a very nice location. For sunny days they’ve got a big terrace. If you book their High Tea you get unlimited tea, a delicious soup, tasty savory bites to share and of course mouth-watering sweet treats. For a pleasant afternoon with friends, family or your loved one! The High Tea costs 24,50 and is only available if you reserve at least one day ahead.
They’ve also got a special Baby Shower High Tea at Karakter that you can order with a touch of blue or pink. That one is 25,50 per person. You can reserve by calling 013 850 77 80.

Anne&Max

At Anne&Max, located in the new Emma Passage in the city center of Tilburg, you can also order a delicious high tea. You don’t get multiple rounds, but a big platter full of tasty dishes. You get a small jar of soup and sandwiches that you can top with the spreads that are served on the platter. You also get several sweet dishes like cookies and cake. You can also reserve a vegan high tea at Anne & Max. The high tea costs 26,- per person and can be reserved for a minimum of two people.

De Groene Vlinder

The High Tea at De Groene Vlinder in de Reeshof is back! You get soup and a sandwich, several savory bites like mini pizza and quiche and a tower filled with sweets like scones and mini eclairs.
You can also order the High Tea Box at the Groene Vlinder, to enjoy a high tea at home. Both need to be reserved in advance via their website. The High Tea costs €39,90 for 2 people.

Bij Broeders, Berkel-Enschot

At Bij Broeders they serve a high tea on Wednesdays. For 29,50 per person you get a small bowl of soup, savory and sweet bites and unlimited tea, coffee and water. You can get a vegetarian version if you let them know when you reserve. You can reserve your spot via their website or by calling 013-7200709.

Groenrijk Tilburg

At garden center Groenrijk in Tilburg you can also reserve a nice High Tea. You’ll be sitting in the middle of the green garden center and you’ll get a three course high tea. You’ll start with a soup, after that you get a round of savory bites and you’ll finish with a round of sweets. You can also order a vegetarian version of this high tea. The high tea is normally €19,95, but they often offer it for only €13,95 per person! You’ll have to reserve in advance (at least 2 days) via their website. You can reserve it from Monday to Saturday from 11am to 2pm.

Saranne, Oisterwijk

Saranne in Oisterwijk is a bakery with a seating area. They sell the most beautiful cakes and the most delicious pastries. They sell ‘Het Verwenmomentje’, a platter filled with various savoury and sweet treats such as a macaron, soup, scone with clotted cream and jam, min quiche and a piece of cake. It’s 28,95 per person. They also have ‘Luxe Zoetplateau’ that you can see on the picture, a platter filled with several sweet treats.

High Pancake at de Ontdekking

At the Ontdekking in Oisterwijk you can order something special: a High Pancake! It’s like an afternoon tea, but with mini pancakes! You get unlimited tea refills, topped sandwiches, diverse sweets and several savory and sweet mini pancakes. The High Pancake costs €22,95 per adult, and €14,50 per kid. It’s served between 12 and 4pm. You have to reserve in advance.

Van der Valk Hotel Gilze Tilburg

As of October 2023, the Van der Valk Hotel Gilze Tilburg also serves a High Tea on Saturdays and Sundays. The ‘High Tea by Toos’ is named after Toos van der Valk and exists of a sweet and savory part. You can start at 1pm, 1:15pm or 1:30pm and you’ve got 2.5 hours to enjoy everything. The High Tea costs 29,50 per adult and 14,75 per kid.

De Schaapjes, Haaren

Not in Tilburg, but in between Oisterwijk and Haaren, you can have a high tea at De Schaapjes. You start with soup, then you get several savory dishes like sandwiches and quiche and then something sweet like cheesecake and scones. The High Tea includes 2 cups of coffee or tea and costs €29,50 per person. De Schaapjes Haaren is closed on Tuesdays.

Groot Speijck, Oisterwijk

Groot Speijk in Oisterwijk serves a High Tea on Sundays at 11am. You start with a small bowl of soup and you’ll get several sweet and savory treats, a fruit smoothie, unlimited tea, (sparkling) water, and optionally a glass of bubbles (€ 4.5 p.p.). The high tea costs 33,50 per person.
The also have a small high tea for kids, that’s 16,50 per child. You’ll need to reserve at least one day in advance.

De Belvertshoeve, Oisterwijk

Forest restaurant De Belvertshoeve in Oisterwijk also serves a High Tea. You’ll get unlimited tea, homemade soup, a small Caesar salad, mini sausage roll, filled sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, a mini croissant, muffin, a glass of yogurt with fruit and granola, bonbons, pastel de nata, sweet pastries and trifle. The High Tea costs €22.50 per person.
They also offer a Kids High Tea for €12.50. Children will get a homemade soup, mini Dutch pancakes with fresh fruit, mini sausage rolls, a small grilled sandwich, various sweet treats and different types of tea or lemonade.
They also serve a High Wine at De Belvertshoeve. Reservations for the High Tea must be made at least one day in advance.

Ome Jan, Oisterwijk

Restaurant Ome Jan (Uncle Jan) in Oisterwijk also serves a high tea. You get a tiered stand with several savory and sweet bites. It includes unlimited tea, coffee and sodas. The High Tea at Ome Jan costs €29,99 and can be reserved from Wednesday to Saturday from 2 to 5 pm.
