Some restaurants in Amsterdam just have the prettiest interior that is perfect for Instagram! I’m sharing the 15 most Instagrammable restaurants of Amsterdam with you. I have to admit that I always check Instagram before I’m going to a city. It’s not only great for inspiration an what to eat but also on where to eat. And Amsterdam has quite a few Instagrammable restaurants! Restaurant interiors are almost as important as the menu nowadays, so if you’re also a visual person (or an Instagrammer) these are the restaurants in Amsterdam where you should go to!
Check out the most Instagrammable restaurants of Amsterdam.
1. MaMa Kelly
The most Instagrammable restaurant of Amsterdam must be MaMa Kelly. MaMa Kelly’s first restaurant is located in the Hague and that already had a pretty industrial interior. But their second restaurant in Amsterdam is the favorite of many Instagrammers. MaMa Kelly Amsterdam has a love affair with pink (it might remind you of Sketch in London). Pink walls, pink chairs, pink napkins, you name it. With a hint of gold MaMa Kelly is the perfect background for every foodie, fashionista and influencer!
2. Corner Bakery
With the Corner Bakery it’s not so much the interior that is Instagrammable, it’s the food. All the dishes here are very colorful. Even a simple granola bowl has all the colors of the rainbow, check a picture of it here. The Corner Bakery helps you with making your pictures more Instagrammable by putting colorful placemats on your table as the perfect background.
3. Peacock Alley, Waldorf Astoria
The Summer Afternoon Tea of the Peacock Alley, they tearoom of the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Amsterdam, is such a feast for the eye and the tastebuds! They have a different theme every year, but it’ll always be very Instagrammable. This year they had this circus theme with toffee apples and lavender and apricot choux with cotton candy for example. And check out the merry-go-round horses and unicorns!
4. The Commons
Restaurant The Commons is located on the Wibautstraat, next to the Student Hotel. You’ll find an interesting mix of travellers, locals and freelancers at the Commons. They’ve created several areas in the spacious building. You got a small lounge area where you can enjoy a cocktail. A big bar when you enter to your left, a pizza bar with pink tiles and the restaurant area with original illumination and a street-art inspired wall.
5. Pluk
Pluk has two very Instagrammable areas in their restaurant (apart from the exterior with the wooden bench in front of the restaurant, which is also often seen on Instagram). One is near the window where they have big baskets with vegetables and the other one is the counter that is always filled with cakes. It’s located in a very Instagram-popular neighborhood the Nine Streets.
6. Café Cliche
Café Cliche has just opened up in Amsterdam East but is already very popular. It’s the restaurant of two Michelin star chef Sidney Schutte, who’s also the chef at Librije’s Zusje in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. He wanted a more low-key restaurant with dishes that he would cook for his guests at home. I don’t know if his house is decorated like this as well, but they’ve done a great job with the big mural and the leather sofas.
7. Sticky Fingers
Although I like Sticky Fingers in Amsterdam West/South most because of their homemade and eco cakes and pastries. But all the influencers just go there for the pink tiled wall. And I have to admit, it makes a pretty nice background!
8. Benji’s
An Instagrammable restaurant doesn’t have to be pink or colorful. The camera also loves plants and an industrial interior. Benji’s is proves my point. It has black tables, wooden chairs and a black and white interior and is very Instagrammable.
9. Bodon
Bodon calls itself Bodon, La Grande Brasserie and rightfully so. On the menu you’ll find traditional French cuisine, which you can enjoy in an extravagant interior. Expect a lot of wood, kopper and a touch of grey.

10. George Marina
George has no less than 6 locations in Amsterdam, and even though they all have a nice interior design George Marina is my favorite. This harbor side restaurant has an open and industrial interior with many black and white tones.
11. Lt Cornelis
If you walk into the Voetboogstraat, a small alley parallel to the Kalverstraat, you won’t expect a beautiful restaurant. But just walk op the stairs and be surprised! Restaurant Lt Cornelis serves traditional Dutch food with a twist and you’ll be enjoying it in a pretty interior inspired by traditional Dutch interiors and the Dutch masters, without getting to tacky.
12. Restaurant Entrepot
Restaurant Entrepot is located at the Entrepotdok, near Artis. It’s a small canal with old warehouses. The white ceiling with light wooden frames is stunning and I love how they honored the building by not adding to much to the interior. In the case of Restaurant Entrepot less is, indeed, more.
13. Naar de Bajes
Naar de Bajes (Dutch slang for ‘to the prison’), is a heaven for graffiti lovers. And we all know that street-art is very Instagrammable! Some of the world’s most renown street-art artists have decorated the walls of this restaurant and club on the Utrechtstestraat in the city center of Amsterdam.
14. Cafe Amoi
Cafe Amoi is an Indonesian restaurant in Amsterdam Old-West. You’ll feel like your Indonesia as well with the wall made of plants and the bright green and yellow colors.
15. Restaurant Dijks
Strictly speaking, Restaurant Dijks isn’t located in Amsterdam but in ‘Watergang’, but as it’s just a stone’s throw away from Amsterdam North, I’m adding it to this list. It’s not only the interior that’s Instagrammable at Restaurant Dijks, it’s also the views of meadows and water.
