The chocolate bar with pistachio became extremely popular and it didn’t lose in popularity in 2025. With the Dubai Chocolate bar, the demand on recipes with pistachio or pistachio cream also increased. And understandable, as the chocolate-pistachio combination is divine. I’m sure you’ll love these Dubai Chocolate Pancakes. The perfect dish for Sugar Sunday!
Dubai Chocolate

In case you’ve missed it, although I find that hard to believe, here’s a brief summary of the origin and definition of Dubai Chocolate. As the name suggests, the viral chocolate bar originated in Dubai. At FIX Dessert Chocolate they developed the bar back in 2022. The bar is filled with Knafeh and Pistachio cream. Knafeh is a delicious Arabic dessert made from thin, shredded phyllo dough or semolina dough soaked in a sweet, fragrant syrup. Nowadays the Dubai Chocolate bar is sold all over the world, and each brand has their own style and recipe.

Pistachio Chocolate
To tell you the truth, I’ve never been much of a Pistachio fan. I never even had Pistachio ice cream, even though it’s one of the most popular ice cream flavors amongst my friends. But now that I’ve discovered the combination of Pistache and Chocolate, I’m hooked. Chocolate and pistachio make an amazing combination because they complement each other in multiple ways. The deep, rich, slightly bitter notes of chocolate (especially dark chocolate) balance out the naturally sweet, nutty, and slightly savory flavor of pistachios. This contrast creates a more complex and satisfying taste. Pistachios add a nice crunch to the smooth, creamy texture of chocolate, making each bite more interesting. If used in ice cream or desserts, pistachios also add a bit of chewiness, enhancing the experience. And both ingredients have earthy undertones, making them blend well together. Chocolate’s cocoa flavors pair beautifully with the subtle roasted, buttery notes of pistachios.
Add the softness of fluffy pancakes, and these Dubai Chocolate Pancakes are the best trio that you might find on your brunch table.
